Luanna's POV:
"I'm never watching a horror movie with you again," El grumbled. "Or any movie at all."
"Don't be mad. I couldn't help myself," I giggled.
"Next time, you'll be tied up if you try that again," she continued to grumble.
"Okay, okay. It was just a joke," I mumbled with a grin, but quickly sobered up when I saw her stern face. "I'm silent."
"Are you done?" Louis whined. El sighed and nodded. "So, what about that trip? Is everyone going?"
"Yeees!" we all yelled in unison.
"So, where are we going?" I asked, adjusting my sitting position.
"I don't know. Who has suggestions?" Liam asked.
"Hawaii," Niall suggested, a perfect idea.
"Yes!" I shouted.
"Sounds good to me," Beth added.
"I'll find the tickets," Louis offered.
"And I'll find the hotel," Jake said.
"And I'll stay on the couch and watch TV," I said, wrapping myself in the blanket.
"I want to stay with Luanna," El snuggled up to me.
"Don't be mad, but me too," Beth pressed against me from the other side.
"You guys will take care of it, right?" I smiled sweetly. They were about to say something, but I interrupted them. "Nobody cares," I said and turned to the TV hanging on the wall.
"Wow," they grumbled, and then dispersed.
"What are we watching, girls?" I asked. "Maybe a hor—"
"No!" they shrieked.
Niall's POV:
"She liked my idea," I grinned as I walked out of the room.
"Oh my god. You're like a little girl, completely head over heels," Harry snorted.
"Don't start. You know, she's the most perfect creature on earth," I replied dreamily.
"I can't take it!" Harry started howling with laughter, as did all the other guys. I frowned but said nothing, knowing I was right. When they calmed down, Louis and I went up to my room, grabbed the laptop, and started looking for tickets.
"Well, look at that. There's one tonight at 3:45 AM and one the day after tomorrow," Louis muttered, engrossed in the search.
"I think we'll take tonight's flight," I mused aloud.
"Okay, I'll buy them, and you can all pay me back later," he said, pressing the button.
"I'm running to tell everyone," I said, quickly getting out of bed. I tripped over Louis's foot again and face-planted on the floor. He started howling, but ignoring him, I quickly got up and ran out the door. Going downstairs, I immediately headed for the living room. The girls were sitting there on the sofa, wrapped in soft blankets, giggling about something.
"The plane is at 3:45 AM. I suggest you hurry," I said, and their eyes widened as they looked at me.
"What?!" they shrieked. "That fast?! Let's go, quickly! We won't make it!" El shouted and dragged Luanna and Beth out. Luanna looked at me with a look that seemed to say: "Help me. She's going to kill me." Before I could do anything, they were already out of the house. Unable to think of anything else, I went to pack.
Luanna's POV:
The others had been packing for about two hours. Since the guys had moved to the fraternity house, we moved into their old room. At least there's a TV and a mini-fridge here.
"Are you done yet? I'd like to go to sleep before the flight," I grumbled.
"Almost done," they replied. Their "almost" took another exhausting hour. I don't understand how it can take so long to pack. It takes me 45 minutes at most. No more. Finally, when they finished, I got ready, set the alarm, and collapsed into bed.
^ 2:00 AM ^
When my alarm woke me up, I found El and Beth running around and falling behind. Grabbing my clothes, which were simple gray sweatpants and a sweatshirt, I went to the shower. After washing and dressing, I didn't even try to put on makeup or style my hair. I braided my hair into a simple plait and put a cap on it. Returning to the room, the two were still running from one end of the room to the other. I grabbed my packed bag and, telling my friends to hurry up, went outside. On the snowy street, the guys were standing with their belongings, waiting for us and, I assume, a taxi.
"Where are those two?" Josh asked, yawning.
"They don't know how to get ready quickly. They sometimes annoy me," I grumbled because I was really lacking sleep. I'm always angry when I'm sleep-deprived.
"Why are you angry?" Liam chuckled.
"Laugh one more time, and you'll be carrying two bags and me," I snarled, dropping my load on the ground and sitting on it.
"Someone is lacking sleep," Louis giggled.
"Can you guys stop laughing at everything? It's getting annoying," grumbled a dissatisfied Niall, who was sitting on the steps with his head resting on the railing.
"Fine. Both of you are so cranky," they muttered.
"Slow and cranky," chuckled Harry, who was now understandably a little tipsy. Louis started howling with him.
"I'm going to kill you," I snarled, standing up. Just as I was about to attack, El and Beth burst out the door.
"We're here," they said cheerfully.
"And so is the taxi," Liam said. The view through my swollen eyes was blurred, but looking closely, you could recognize the yellow cars.
"Why only two? Couldn't you call three? How are we going to fit?" Niall grumbled, displeased.
"Somehow," he uttered, putting a bag in the car's trunk. I walked up to him, dropped my bag for him to carry, and sat in the front seat next to the driver as fast as I could.
"Why is Luanna sitting in the front? I wanted to sit there," Louis frowned.
"Who's slow and who's cranky now?" I retorted. He simply sat in the back with El, Jake, and Josh. The others were in the second car.
I rested my head against the cold glass and closed my eyes. I heard nothing around me. All I needed was a little sleep. I was on the verge of it. I would have fallen into my dream sleep, but no. Someone opened my door, and I just fell out of the car, sprawling on the ground.
"Don't sleep, we still have things to do," Jake said, grinning and tossing me my bag.
"I hate you all," I muttered.
"You're lying to yourself. We're perfect," he pretended.
"Just shut up, or that scarf will be in your mouth instead of around your neck," I said sternly and walked through the airport doors. I immediately felt cozier as the warm air blew onto me. I saw the others standing in a circle, talking about something. Only Niall looked worn out, standing there as if silently condemning their loud voices.
"Let's go, faster," I grumbled, walking straight through the circle and pushing them aside. We now stopped in a line where a long process of checking everything awaited us, but after an hour, we were all on the plane. I sat by the window next to Harry and Beth. They were sitting huddled together, constantly cooing at each other. This was starting to get annoying. I put my headphones in and, leaning against the window, fell asleep.
