Chapter Thirty-Four- LEAH

Angel had spent the last hour convincing herself she was calm.

She wasn't.

She was slowly loosing her mind, she had a feeling she was going to be claustrophobic and really hate pink, when she gets out of here. . . If she gets out of here.

She sat in the middle of the bed, knees drawn up, arms wrapped around them. The room still looked like a doll's fantasy gone wrong.

She heard the door click open.

Nadir stepped in holding a small tray. On it was a glass of water, a single red rose, and a small plate with fruits cut into cubes.

He placed it on the bedside table and stepped back.

"No guards?" Angel asked.

"No guards," he replied.

"Why?"

He shrugged. "Do you want them back?"

"No."

"Then be quiet about it."

Angel grabbed the glass of water and drank. Slowly. Watching him. He didn't sit this time. He walked around the room like someone trying not to pace, but pacing anyway.

"You're pacing," Angel said.

"Am I?"

"Yes."
