Chapter 18 - Death

"I know you are confused, Issac, but I can't explain what I don't understand," Damon said.

"I believe your highness would find your answer. Something that is capable of confusing his highness that he had to consult with a witch is no trivial matter." Issac could sense that something big is about to happen.

…..

Going on a killing spree would not change the fact that your brother is back. All that is going to do is put the hunters on our heels. You should focus more on trying to plot a new scheme, or you can simply just beg your brother for forgiveness.

The lady's next words were stopped mid-sentence as Damien flew at her, wrapping his hand around her neck. Anger in his eyes, he said, "You dare!"

She just looked back at him and let out a maniacal laugh. "If you kill me, that is not going to help you, too, you know," she said. "Instead, why don't you tell me what went wrong? Your stupid dagger, it didn't work. I was able to stab him, but he suddenly vanished into thin air, with the dagger, too."

Damien replied, with his hand still on her neck and anger still evident in his eyes, "Vanished!?"

She said, with surprise, "Damien: Yes, he disappeared, you dumb witch! That is impossible. The dagger has no such ability. That dagger took the life of the greatest dark creatures there ever was. From the first ever pure vampire, to the great Lycan, and even demons that are said to be unkillable, and there is no record of anyone disappearing after being stabbed."

Damien: "Then are you saying I'm lying, or I didn't know what I saw? Teleportation is not an ability of vampires, so it can't be Damon."

"Wait!!!!" The witch screamed before Damien completely squeezed the life out of her. "If you really stabbed, or made as much as a cut on him, no matter how strong he may seem, he is sure to die, unless he met Anastodeins Unsara."

Damien: "That is your big guess, that my brother met a god I have only heard of in stories and never seen. So, what are you trying to say now, that Damon can't, not be killed, has he become an imaginary god, too? I can't believe I'm listening to your nonsense."

Every object in the house started to rise. All flew in the direction of the witch, piercing every part of her body, riddling her body with holes.
