"Boom—!"
A black metal block, trailing a long fiery tail, violently crashed into National City's Central Park.
The earth shook violently.
Soil and turf were flung dozens of meters high by the immense force, and a violent shockwave spread in a ring, shattering the windows of all apartment buildings half a mile away.
Sirens wailed, from far to near, sharp and piercing, breaking the afternoon's tranquility.
Dozens of powerful flashlight beams wavered in the smoke and dust, all focused on the deep crater billowing white smoke.
"Keep your distance! Everyone, keep your distance!"
The tactical team of the DEO, full name "Department of Extranormal Operations," had immediately cordoned off the scene.
Dark, specialized firearms were uniformly aimed at the severely twisted and deformed escape pod at the bottom of the pit.
The tension was palpable.
"Hiss—"
With a shrill jet of steam, the hatch slowly opened.
A young man with black hair and blue eyes, shirtless, sat up from the darkness.
He shook his head, the confusion in his eyes lasting less than a second before being swiftly replaced by sharpness.
He glanced at the humans outside the pit, holding strange metal tubes and looking as if facing a formidable enemy.
He muttered in Kryptonian, "Where is this?"
"Warning! Hands up! Now!"
The leading agent roared through a megaphone, the English warning piercing through the smoke and dust.
The young man, Tel-Rol, paid no heed.
His senses spread out.
Weak, too weak.
The energy within these life forms was utterly pathetic.
He propped himself up on the scorched ground and stood.
His tall physique wasn't as sculpted as classical statues, but rather lean and explosive with muscle lines ready to erupt at any moment.
He took a deep breath.
The air smelled strange, very... peaceful.
So peaceful that he found it boring.
He took a step.
Too fast for the naked eye to catch!
"Fire!"
The lead agent's pupils suddenly constricted, and he roared hoarsely.
"Bang bang bang bang!"
Dense bullets formed a deadly net of fire, completely engulfing the spot where he had just stood.
But they only hit air.
The next second, Tel-Rol appeared in front of an agent.
One hand had already gripped the agent's throat, easily lifting him off the ground.
Just then!
"Stop!"
A red and blue figure, accompanied by a violent sonic boom, descended from the sky.
The ground cracked where she landed.
Supergirl, Kara Zor-El, stood in front of him, her golden hair fluttering in the airflow, her expression more solemn than ever.
She spoke in pure Kryptonian.
Tel-Rol's movement paused for a moment.
He casually threw the agent away, who slammed into a car door and immediately passed out.
His gaze never once lingered on that agent.
His blue eyes, burning with fire, stared intently at Kara.
A tremor from the depths of his bloodline made his entire body's blood begin to heat up.
Within this blonde woman, there was a vast and powerful force!
Finally... finally, someone decent.
Tel-Rol's lips uncontrollably curved into a wild, battle-hungry smile.
"You... are strong."
He was trembling with excitement.
Kara's heart was on alert.
She looked at this fellow Kryptonian.
But there was no joy of reunion with a compatriot on him, no relief of surviving a catastrophe.
Only the greed and desire of a beast discovering its prey!
What kind of look was that?
That wasn't the look one gives family!
"I am Kara Zor-El, Clark's cousin."
Kara tried to make her voice sound gentle; she wanted to awaken the other party's Kryptonian memories and emotions.
"Our home... Krypton, has been destroyed."
"Don't worry, you are safe now."
Tel-Rol's smile grew wider.
"Safe?"
He felt that the woman in front of him had become foolish from staying on Earth, speaking such words.
"Boring."
He took a step forward.
"Boom!"
An invisible, visibly white aura suddenly erupted from him!
The ground beneath his feet cracked inch by inch, and the surrounding air pressed down on the DEO agents, almost making them kneel.
Kara's expression changed.
What is this?!
This energy was violent, scorching!
This was definitely not Kryptonian power! Kryptonians absorb solar energy; their power is internalized, not externally released like this!
"I don't need safety."
Tel-Rol grinned, revealing a mouthful of white teeth, his smile full of madness.
"I only need..."
His body sank slightly, adopting an aggressive stance Kara had never seen before.
"A fight!"
Before he finished speaking, the ground beneath his feet exploded, and he lunged directly at Kara!
Kara's pupils constricted sharply, and she crossed her arms, preparing to brace for this earth-shattering blow.
She absolutely could not let him land this hit!
With the intensity of this power, the entire park, even half of National City, would be razed to the ground!
Just at this critical moment!
"Whoosh—!"
A more rapid black and red sonic boom cloud sounded in the air.
A more massive red and blue figure, cutting into the battlefield at ten times the speed of sound, shielded Kara behind him.
"Bang!!!"
Tel-Rol's fist was firmly caught by an iron-like hand.
At the point of impact between fist and palm, a white circular airwave erupted, blowing away everything around them, including DEO armored vehicles and trees!
Superman, Clark Kent, stood in front of Kara.
He looked at this violent compatriot with a solemn expression, the immense force from the arm making him feel startled.
Tel-Rol's attack was blocked, but instead of anger, the fighting intent in his eyes burned even more fiercely.
His gaze went over Superman's shoulder and saw the complex expression on Kara behind him.
His gaze refocused on Superman.
He could sense it.
The aura on this man was even stronger than that woman's!
Tel-Rol's smile became brighter than ever.
"Another one."
"You are stronger than her!"
"Very good!"
After roaring the last word, his other hand turned into a black blur, smashing towards Clark's face.
It was fast and powerful.
But Clark merely tilted his head slightly and dodged it.
The wind from the punch whistled past Clark's ear, exploding directly on a tree behind him, sending wood chips flying.
Tel-Rol's punch missed, but he reacted extremely quickly, turning with the momentum and sweeping a roundhouse kick towards Clark's waist.
"Thud!"
A dull thud.
Clark raised his arm to block the kick, his body remaining perfectly still.
Tel-Rol's two consecutive moves were easily neutralized, and the smile on his face receded slightly.
He looked at Clark, frowning.
"Why aren't you fighting back? Have you stayed here too long and become so weak?"
Clark took a deep breath.
He looked at this blood-related family member, feeling like he was reasoning with an extremely dangerous wild child.
His voice was gentle yet firm: "We are family; we shouldn't kill each other."
"My name is Clark Kent, Kryptonian name Kal-El." He took a step forward, his red cape fluttering without wind, "I am your cousin. We both left Krypton back then, but for some unknown reason, we got separated. But now—"
"Enough!"
After speaking, he glanced at the National City skyscrapers not far behind Clark.
His senses swept across the entire city, quickly pinpointing several individuals with prominent auras within the city.
Tel-Rol suddenly leaped backward, creating distance from Clark, and showed a wicked grin.
"If you won't fight me, there will always be something that will!"
He hunched his body, a large section of the ground beneath his feet collapsed, and he charged towards the city center.
"Stop!"
Clark's expression changed.
This guy is a lunatic!
If he rushed into the city, the consequences would be unimaginable!
Clark no longer hesitated, and a red and blue shadow instantly pursued him, intercepting Tel-Rol in mid-air.
"I am your opponent!"
