The screech of tires ripped through the quiet city air
He barely had time to react. A truck loomed ahead metal glinting under the harsh sunlight. He had taken this risk. He knew the danger but he was willing to gamble everything for the chance at another life
Pain exploded through his body. Cold, Sharp and Crushing.
Darkness wrapped around him suffocating yet strangely calm

He had never wanted to overshadow the people who lived there. He had always imagined himself as someone who could exist alongside them, Learn and Grow with them.

He thought of the worlds he had always admired.
The universes he had spent hours imagining the adventures the powers the heroes he had loved as a child.
All of it had been nothing but fantasy until now
"for first wish I want to live in that world" he said
"Not as someone else but as myself. I want to be Ben Tennyson's cousin so I can be close to him and his family. I do not want to replace anyone. I want to exist as myself"

The presence began to fade leaving him in a void that shimmered at the edges of vision
He felt his body dissolve into nothing yet not in fear or pain.
It was like falling and floating at the same time
A light appeared in the distance drawing him toward it.
Every step felt weightless yet deliberate.
He felt the pull of a new reality a world waiting for him to arrive

The light grew and he felt a warmth unlike anything he had ever known.
It was inviting and safe.
