But then, Evans let out a slow, heavy sigh. His expression shifted from excitement to something more somber. He pulled out the final document. "And lastly, there's this. It's a massive, multi-year deal, but it comes with a condition that changes everything."
He looked me straight in the eye. "Since most of your high-fashion work will now be focused in Europe and the U.S., the brand requires you to relocate overseas for the duration of the contract. They want you to be based in either London or Paris."
The bright smile on my face didn't just dim; it vanished instantly. The air felt like it had been sucked out of the room.
"Relocate?" I murmured, the word feeling like lead on my tongue. "Are we talking about weeks? Or months?"
