Chapter 33 - 33

On the edge of Hell's Kitchen, near the docks, JJ parked the car by the side of the road.

Not far away, several giant wolves, like ghosts, avoided the dim streetlights and surrounded a warehouse.

Alvin noticed a figure in a red and black tight-fitting suit on the roof of an adjacent warehouse, waving in his direction.

Alvin inwardly scoffed at the guy's fashion sense.

Is it really okay for a young, unmarried man to wear a tight suit?

Ignoring this reserve member who insisted on joining the fun, Alvin contacted Raven.

He frowned.Inside was a gathering point for illegal immigrants, and many people were currently there.

They were being picked and chosen like livestock by a few target creatures, and those selected cheerfully followed them upstairs.

"You all managed to sneak into the Big Apple, so why are you still staying here?"

The targets were in the upstairs office, not precisely counted, but probably around ten of them.

He explained the situation inside to JJ and Frank and asked what they should do.

Frank grinned and asked, "Do you want to capture all of them alive, or just one alive?" His expression was like that of a seasoned butcher asking if you wanted tenderloin or ribs.

Alvin thought for a moment and said, "Capture two! Just to be safe."

Frank nodded and said, "Then JJ and I will go upstairs and drive two down.

You lock the warehouse door first to prevent anyone inside from escaping by blending into the crowd during the chaos." Frank's casual demeanor made it seem like he was going to catch chickens.

Alvin shook his head and said, "I'll go up with you guys; Thor and the others can stay outside.

I thought it was just one or two small fry, but it turns out to be a whole meeting of them.

I really want to play with these things!" He brandished the kukri in his hand, looking like a gangster eager to chop someone.

Frank didn't know Alvin's combat strength, so he glanced at JJ, who he immediately recognized as one of his own kind.

JJ, however, looked at Alvin with the adoration of a crazy fan, practically drooling over the kukri in his hand.

"Then it should be fine," Frank concluded.

Frank pulled a U-lock from the car and quietly went to the warehouse door, locking it from the outside.

The three of them climbed the metal stairs on the outside of the warehouse to the second floor.

Alvin closed his eyes and communicated with Raven, discovering that behind the door, a guy dressed like a punk rock singer was leaning against the wall, smoking marijuana.

With crimson eyes and fangs peeking from his mouth, if this wasn't a vampire, Alvin felt there was no need for his eyes.

He stopped JJ, who was about to kick the door open.

"Are you kidding? If the door is broken, how can we close it to fight the vampires?"

Waving his hand to signal the two to ambush by the door, Alvin adjusted his collar.

He gently knocked on the door, "Hello, your pizza is here!"

The iron door was pulled open a crack from the inside, and the punk singer, his lips pursed, peered out with crimson eyes.

Alvin looked and saw, thankfully, no security chain.

His smile widened.

JJ reacted quickly, flashing to the door and pushing hard with his shoulder, forcing the entire iron door open.

The immense force slammed the unlucky vampire against the wall along with the door.

Between the wall and the iron door, only the punk singer's mohawk-clad head was visible.

Because of the human cushion, the sound of the door opening was not loud.

Looking at the unlucky guy, who was bleeding from all seven orifices and couldn't even make a sound, Frank gained a new understanding of JJ's strength; he was practically a human pile driver.

The three walked in and closed the door.

Alvin grabbed the hair of the fallen punk singer and motioned for the two to watch.

The kukri lightly swiped across the punk singer's neck.

An orange-red light began to expand from the wound.

Within seconds, the punk singer, like a paper effigy burned during Qingming Festival, was reduced to ashes from the inside out, incredibly eco-friendly.

JJ and Frank were a bit surprised.

JJ looked at Alvin's kukri, then at the small utility knife on his own body, and his gaze towards Alvin became increasingly resentful.

Frank inspected the ground, finding only a small amount of black ash, and quietly asked, "Are they all like this? They're too fragile."

Alvin looked at the corner of the corridor ahead and said softly and seriously, "Don't get bitten by these things.

Ordinary weapons can't kill them; use the weapons I gave you."

Frank and JJ didn't question it.

Alvin wouldn't harm them, and they instinctively tightened their grip on their Remingtons.

Quietly approaching a room with red lights, Alvin looked through the corridor window and saw a sight that filled him with rage.

Under the dim red light, about ten vampires, each holding a woman who was likely an illegal immigrant, were having an orgy.

In the corner, two vampires who seemed to have finished early were feeding.

The two women being bled had eerie smiles on their faces as they slowly died.

Alvin gestured, and he and JJ went to the door, while Frank, holding Alvin's Glock 17, guarded the window.

Pulling back JJ, who was about to kick the door, Alvin angrily stomped on the door.

With a "crack," the iron door flew into the room with his force, slamming a recently well-fed vampire hard against the wall.

The unlucky vampire's recently full stomach burst open from the immense pressure, and the splattering blood radiated outwards, staining a large section of the wall.

Even so, the creature wasn't dead; its body, pressed behind the door, still struggled and writhed.

The women in the room shrieked in terror and cowered in the corners.

With these women present, shotguns were not ideal, so JJ simply used his Remington as a club in his left hand and his 1911 in his right, going on a rampage.

Frank smashed through the window and fired precise shots with his Glock 17.

Firearms inlaid with the rune "Eihwaz" were incredibly lethal to vampires; no deliberate aiming was needed; as long as a vampire was hit, it would turn to dust.

Several quick-reacting vampires, not daring to face the god-like JJ, charged naked towards Alvin.

Alvin, wielding his kukri, cast "Thorns" on himself and met them.

There were no fancy moves or techniques; it was simply, "If I see you, I chop you." Dangerous attacks he would dodge; less dangerous ones he would take.

Twenty points in strength and twenty points in agility were no joke.

Of the five vampires that rushed forward, three turned to dust.

The other two, realizing their attacks had no effect on Alvin, and that they inexplicably kept getting new wounds, shrieked in terror, trying to rally their companions to attack this fearsome enemy.

Alvin didn't bother with their futile resistance and chased after them with his knife.

He grabbed the hair of a vampire trying to hide among the women and ferociously stabbed it in the kidney.

The creature shrieked, trembling as it was set off like fireworks.

While Alvin was stabbing his companion, one vampire, with all its might, clawed at Alvin's neck.

But a strange ripple of air emanated, and a huge wound appeared on its own body.

Alvin, in a very "thug-like" manner, turned and sneered, hacking the vampire in half horizontally with one swing, turning it into dust.

Seeing that the remaining vampires were not too numerous, Alvin unslung the net gun from his back.

He netted one vampire with a single shot.

Walking up to the struggling vampire, he kicked the unlucky creature in the face, and its two red eyeballs popped out of its head like they were spring-loaded, bouncing a few times on the ground before being crushed by a fed-up JJ.

The vampires finally realized that Alvin, without a gun, was the most terrifying one.

The last three vampires huddled together and desperately charged towards the door.

JJ, guarding the door, grinned and shot one dead.

The remaining two vampires immediately turned towards the window.

Frank, who had been doing auxiliary work, was furious.

"What? I'm not scary, huh?!"
