Chapter 54 - Flight Attendant Candidates

"Darcy Lewis?"

Aaron walked in front of the three, his perfect appearance giving Darcy and Jane a pleasing feeling.

"You know me?"

Darcy was very surprised.

As Aaron approached, for some reason, her heart pounded.

Impossible! She had never felt this way about any other man.

Was it Aaron's wealth? Or his appealing looks?

Damn it, am I that kind of woman? I'm a woman who wants to focus on studying and get a doctorate in astronomy, I can't just fall for good looks like this.

"Of course. I think you're very talented. I have a high-paying job here. Are you willing to join Osborn Industries ?" Aaron showed a friendly smile.

Darcy glanced at Erik and Jane. "But I'm still a liberal arts intern, and my major is astrophysics."

Aaron said, "Don't worry, although Osborn Industries mainly focuses on biomedicine, it has varying degrees of research in other fields. This job of mine also happens to be related to astronomy."

A flight attendant is always with airplanes. If she doesn't know astronomy, how can she be a good flight attendant?

Darcy was conflicted. "But I still want to get my doctorate in astrophysics."

"This job is very relaxed, with plenty of time to study. I admire girls who love to learn like you, you're very different."

I… am very different? He's complimenting me!

If anyone else had said that, Darcy would have scoffed, 'Do I need your admiration?'

But the person saying it now was Aaron.

After Aaron's body was reshaped and continuously strengthened, his genes were quite perfect.

And because of the perfect re-expression of his genes, his original appearance had undergone subtle adjustments.

Coupled with his perfectly proportioned physique, and his Dr. titles in fields like biological genetics and biochemistry, as well as being a super-heavyweight billionaire.

When all these things converged on one person, the destructive power was simply unmatched.

What's more, Aaron constantly exuded a special aura from a higher level of life, and a strong scent of male hormones.

No woman could refuse Aaron. Even a lesbian would be straightened out in an instant.

Oh my God, he's smiling at me. So handsome, like the sun.

Refuse? Darcy thought about it and felt that refusing Aaron was a sin, making her feel uneasy.

She also found it hard to say that word.

Damn it, this is too much!

No, I'm sinking!

"Gulp..."

"Um… Dr. Erik, Jane, I think…"

Erik's face fell a bit.

You were won over by just a couple of sentences?

"Whatever you want, just don't neglect your studies."

Erik was Jane's Professor, and Darcy was Jane's student, so he couldn't say much.

As for Jane, she was in a daze for a while, then snapped back to reality when she heard Darcy say that.

Inside, she felt a hint of jealousy. She was clearly more talented and gifted, so why did Aaron invite Darcy first and not her?

Aaron then looked at Jane and extended his hand. "I know you, Jane, astronomy expert. Your papers on astronomy are brilliant. It's clear you have deep expertise in astronomy."

Jane's eyes widened, and she instinctively reached out to shake his hand. "You've read my papers?"

"Of course, for example, the one from two months ago, about astronomy in history."

"And the one from three months ago, co-authored with Dr. Erik, on the connection between myths and astronomy…"

Jane watched as Aaron recited the most important core points of her papers without missing a word. Suddenly, she felt like she had met a kindred spirit.

It was their first meeting, and Aaron was the high and mighty CEO of Osborn Industries. She was a young Professor of astronomy but compared to Aaron, she was an ugly duckling, while Aaron was a swan, an eagle, a towering dragon.

Such a talented, cultured, and capable person would actually take special notice of her, a seemingly insignificant astronomy expert.

Does he like me?

Otherwise, why would Aaron, modern day Einstein, specialized in biomedical sector, cross fields to pay attention to her, an unnoticed astronomy expert?

That's right!

Aaron talked to Darcy first to find an opportunity to meet and connect with her.

Perhaps Aaron's true goal was her, and he was just using Darcy as a way to get close?

Damn it, you don't have to beat around the bush, just be direct.

Jane was dizzy.

She subconsciously said, "I accept."

Jane snapped back to reality, her face slightly flushed, and she said seriously, "My point is, I accept your offer. As Dr. Erik said, as long as it doesn't interfere with Darcy's studies, gaining a job at the same time is not bad."

"This can be considered an early step into society, and it's Osborn Industries. I believe it will definitely be a good experience for her life."

Erik's expression changed drastically. Not good, trouble.

Both his workers were about to be poached by Aaron.

Would he, this eighty-year-old Dr., be the only one left in the end? Too inhumane, too immoral!

He looked at Aaron warily. "Mr. Aaron, why would you come to such a remote, godforsaken place? It's usually very dangerous here, sparsely populated. It's not a place for a big shot like you."

Aaron glanced at him. "You have a point, but I wouldn't recommend an old man and two delicate young girls wandering around these places. That's even more dangerous."

Erik was a bit embarrassed. Just as he was about to say something, Aaron extended another invitation to Jane. "Ms. Jane, are you interested in working for my Corporation? Osborn Industries just happens to need a research supervisor in astronomy."

"The benefits and treatment will satisfy you, and in the future, for any research you want to do, there will be private planes, dedicated transport, and bodyguard protection."

"Eh?!"

Are you sure she's your employee and not your girl?

Before Jane could answer, Aaron glanced at Thor. "You have plenty of time to consider. I'll probably be here for two days. Just give me your answer before I leave."

"Now I need to send off this gentleman, the extraterrestrial visitor."

Aaron took out a gold-embossed business card and gave one to each of them, including Erik.

Waving his hand, Aaron drove towards the nearest town.

"Extraterrestrial visitor? That person wasn't dead just now?"

Erik was momentarily dazed, realizing this was big news, and quickly urged Darcy to act, "Hurry, let's follow them immediately!"

"Perhaps this is our best chance to further understand astronomy."

"I should have thought of it earlier. The anomaly just now must have been caused by that extraterrestrial visitor. No wonder Aaron came here in person. So that's how it is."

Darcy rolled her eyes, carefully placing the business card in her chest pocket, patting it. It was bulging.

Hmm, very warm, very thoughtful.

Darcy once again became the experienced driver and hit the road.

With excellent driving skills, she was actually able to keep up with Aaron's rolls-royce in a minivan.

"Boss, is the speed appropriate?" The driver asked cautiously, implying whether they should shake them off.

In fact, he was deliberately driving a little slower. As a driver, you need to have good judgment. Aaron was clearly interested in those two women. He naturally had to cooperate intentionally and observe Aaron's expression.

Aaron hummed with his eyes closed, and the driver immediately understood, slowing down a bit more to make it less strenuous for the other party to chase.

This driver was clearly very experienced. The car speed was just at the point where with a little more effort, they could catch up, giving a sense of hope.

However, no matter how the other party chased, they always missed by just a little bit.

Occasionally giving a little taste, getting a bit closer, then immediately pulling away again.
