Hearing Aaron's self-introduction, Thor nodded and said very politely, "So it is the Lord of the Crystal Palace Pantheon. I, on behalf of Asgard, greet you."
Aaron really wanted to laugh, but he forcefully held it back. "You are the God of Thunder, and I am also the God of Thunder. Why don't we have a try?"
Aaron opened his right hand, and violent thunder gathered into a ball, occasionally cracking with lightning and emitting crackling sounds.
Thor watched with trepidation, subconsciously wanting to activate his power. "Hey, where is my lightning?"
Thor looked up in confusion, staring at the lightning ball in Aaron's palm. "Why does that thing feel so familiar?"
He was deep in thought, as if he had seen it before.
Thor shook his head. It was probably due to lightning, it was normal for it to look familiar.
However...
Thor said, "For certain reasons, I cannot use Divine Power currently. I need to retrieve my weapon, a hammer that fell from the sky. Do you know where it is?"
"When I get my hammer back, I'll have a good contest with you."
Feeling an unprecedented weakness in his body, Thor smiled foolishly from the bottom of his heart.
Looking at the lightning in the other party's hand, he felt very guilty, and even a little afraid.
Is it really normal for the God of Thunder to be afraid of lightning?
"You want to find your hammer? Then you've asked the right person. Follow me."
Aaron retracted Thor's Power and gestured for the other party to follow.
Thor was overjoyed at the news and quickly followed.
"Let me tell you, today was supposed to be my day of glory. Right at my God King coronation ceremony, a group of terrible Frost Giants entered Odin's Vault through a loophole and ruined my ceremony."
"Then I led the army and taught them a good lesson, letting them know Asgard's strength."
"Oh."
Looking at Thor's 'I'm so awesome' expression, if he hadn't known that Thor and his companions were surrounded and almost killed, Aaron might have actually believed him.
He nodded. "Then how did you come down?"
Thor's smiling face, which had been boasting, slightly froze. "That's a very good question."
"In fact, this is a trial. Yes, a trial."
"The final trial before becoming king."
Thor did not mention his embarrassing moment, but racked his brain to come up with a reasonable explanation.
In a sense, this was indeed a trial. According to the normal process, once Thor picked up mjolnir, he could continue to be his king.
But sometimes, you never know whether accident or surprise will come first.
"Perhaps I can tell you about my hammer, mjolnir. It's the best hammer in the world."
Aaron and Thor were talking as they passed Erik.
After greeting Darcy and Jane, Aaron told the driver to keep driving.
"Cool. Are those your women? They look great. But they seem to be ordinary people. Perhaps I can introduce you to some Asgardian women. Believe me, they are absolutely great." Thor was being overly familiar.
As a frequent guest at banquets, Thor wasn't completely clueless. He had always been the center of various parties, enjoying the flattery of nobles, and drinking for days on end.
He was deeply loved by those noblewomen and young misses.
"Humans cannot bear the grace of a God." Thor said with a serious face, completely oblivious to the slightly displeased expressions of Jane and Darcy behind him.
Where did this lunatic come from?
"I think he's from Arkham, only there could such a talent be born." Darcy whispered.
"Don't just stand there, let's follow." Erik was in a hurry.
He had a premonition that the subject he had been researching for many years might finally yield an answer soon.
Provided that the man just now wasn't a lunatic.
It shouldn't be, right? Aaron isn't an ordinary person, anyone who catches his attention couldn't possibly be a fool, could they?
"My mjolnir was forged by Eitri, the greatest blacksmith of the Nine Realms, the Dwarf King, using the core energy of a dying star. It's indestructible, highly sentient, and can fly at high speeds."
"As long as I hold it, I will be invincible."
"Of course, besides me and my father, no one else can lift it. You know, it's a Divine Artifact with a master." Thor winked at Aaron, praising his hammer immensely.
"The Meow-Meow Hammer sounds pretty good? I'll try it if I get the chance." Aaron was quite expectant.
"It's not the Meow-Meow Hammer, it's mjolnir." Thor corrected.
"You can try it later, but even if you use all your strength, you'll never make it obey, because it belongs only to me." Thor smiled foolishly, immensely proud.
Mjolnir was his greatest love, and he was its greatest love. He believed that one man and one hammer would be together forever.
Mjolnir would never abandon him.
"Boss, it's surrounded up ahead. They look like trouble."
The driver said, looking at the construction site ahead, which was surrounded and had signs saying "Military Zone, No entry."
"Aren't you a God Among Men? How dare they defy your orders?" Thor asked, confused.
"That's what I call myself."
Aaron got out of the car first. "Give me your phone."
The driver was confused but still handed over his phone. "Let me unlock the password first."
"No need."
With a thought, Aaron analyzed the fingerprints and key presses on the phone, then furiously calculated in his mind. In just a few seconds, he found the correct password.
"Perhaps you should change your password." Aaron said, leading the confused Thor away.
"You're not a God?" Thor's expression was a little off.
"Why don't you try first?"
Aaron smiled kindly, and a sudden clap of thunder came from the clear sky. The booming sound made Thor instinctively flinch.
"I'm just kidding." Thor said with a forced smile.
Regardless of whether others acknowledged it, he was now convinced that Aaron was a God. Even at his peak, he didn't have Aaron's ability to easily summon thunder. He could only control lightning better by holding mjolnir.
Honestly, at this moment, Thor felt that Aaron's control over lightning was stronger than his, the God of Thunder of Asgard.
How envious!
The God of Thunder should be like this.
Why couldn't he do it?
"Stop! Something dangerous has happened here, no outsiders allowed!"
Aaron and Thor had just arrived at the entrance when they were stopped by two burly men in black.
"Get Coulson out here." Aaron didn't even look at them, saying coldly.
The two hesitated. If it were anyone else, they would have directly "sent" them away. No one dared to be so arrogant in front of S.H.I.E.L.D.
But they clearly recognized Aaron's identity.
A voice came through their earpieces, and they immediately stepped aside.
"Please."
Thor muttered, "You're still too friendly. In Asgard, no one ever dared to stop me. If there really were such blind people, it would be a hammer to the face."
These words made the two people nearby twitch. They really wanted to give Thor two hammer blows first.
