Chapter 62 - Absorbing Loki's Blood

However, Loki was wondering why Aaron knew so much about Odin's Vault. He even knew that fakes existed inside.

After thinking it over, Loki decided to play it safe.

The vow was already made, adding a supplementary condition was nothing.

After all, he was an honest, upright, and respectable king who kept his promises.

If it had to be real, then so be it. Odin had collected many items anyway, and taking one or two wouldn't affect him. At worst, he would find a way to win a few wars later and slowly replenish the vault.

Loki thought leisurely.

He then bowed out and walked to the side. He did not return, but went to tease his foolish brother.

Seeing this, Aaron did not follow to watch the melodramatic spectacle of brothers fighting and loving.

The blood on his finger glittered under the sunlight. In an instant, the blood vanished, as if it had never been there.

[Ice Control (Frost Giant Bloodline): Similar ability detected. Fusion complete. You have gained powerful Ice Control ability and possess the power of the King of the Frost Giants.]

[Gigantism (Incomplete): When ice power is sufficient, you will possess a certain degree of Gigantism ability, and your physical quality will simultaneously improve.]

[Compendium of magic (Loki): You have mastered magic characteristics such as Invisibility, Illusion, Phantom Clone, Telekinesis, Levitation, Spatial Storage, Astral Projection, Transfiguration, Possession, Short-Distance Teleportation, Hypnosis, Energy Release, Telepathy, and Shadow Manipulation (No incantations are required. These have been merged as characteristics into your inherent abilities, with intensity matching Loki).]

To be honest, Loki's current level of ability is truly not that great.

Compared to Loki, God of Time, in the later Loki TV series, this Loki is beyond just a little weaker.

God of Time Loki wields the power of time and maintains the temporal stability of the Multiverse under the sacred timeline.

The current Loki, however, does not even possess abilities such as possession, telepathy, shadow manipulation, short-range teleportation, or hypnosis. Although he actually knows all these, he hasn't yet unearthed them, only mastering their use years later.

Aaron had not expected to gain any powerful abilities from Loki.

But now...

"I'm very sorry, Loki, I owe you an apology. While you may not be the Nine Realms' top sorcerer, you are definitely a qualified one." Aaron sighed with emotion.

Loki is awesome? No, the primordial furnace is awesome.

It even unearthed Loki's hidden abilities that he hadn't yet discovered.

And these magic abilities were directly integrated into his body.

Now, Aaron doesn't need to be as complex as Loki, he can use these abilities instinctively.

Of course, energy consumption is unavoidable.

After all, he currently doesn't possess the true, reality-defying nature of the primordial furnace.

It completely defies the laws of energy conservation and the concept of rules, making it a bug among bugs.

Aaron's mind stirred, and his clothes suddenly changed. From a well-dressed, successful man in a suit, he transformed into the appearance of Superman, wearing a blue uniform with a red S symbol on his chest and a red cape.

"Not bad."

At this moment.

Darcy and Jane emerged, surrounded by Coulson and others.

Erik's voice was still chattering, "I'm telling you, immediately return all our data."

Jane added, "And the backups of those files."

Darcy immediately chimed in. "And the backups of the backup files. Not a single one can be missing."

Coulson was a bit helpless. He wanted to refuse, but considering that some of his subordinates said Darcy and Jane had indeed been in contact with Aaron, and Aaron's driver had also come forward to state that Darcy and Jane were Osborn Industries' employees, personally invited to join by the boss...

What else could Coulson say? He could only try to stall for time, have someone copy a set, and then return it.

If it were anyone else, he would absolutely not pay them any mind.

But Aaron... he really didn't want to receive another call from the President.

"Once we confirm that there are no classified secrets involved, then... uh? Aaron?"

Coulson's words stopped abruptly at the crucial point.

He looked at Aaron, who was experimenting with new abilities in the distance, especially the very conspicuous Superman uniform on him, and his expression changed dramatically.

You still say you're not Superman!

Coulson's tone changed. "Please rest assured, it was a misunderstanding earlier, it was all our fault."

"Someone, immediately return all of this friend's belongings, not a single one missing. Right now!"

"I also have a gift as an apology, such as a seven-day European tour, a trip to Venice, etc."

"Of course, Dr. Erik, I also solemnly invite you on behalf of S.H.I.E.L.D. Would you be willing to contribute to the safety of the U.S. and the world? I guarantee that all benefits will be the highest in the industry, full of perks, and absolutely no one will interfere with your research."

Coulson's initially arrogant, then deferential, posture was amusing to think about.

But no one laughed at him because Aaron truly is a God Among Men.

Oh, and a river god.

Hiss... can't afford to provoke him.

Darcy and Jane were equally stunned. They exchanged glances, their eyes filled with both shock and joy.

A God personally invited them, what else could they say? Agree!

"I accept."

"Officer, that's the situation."

After Aaron and the others left, Coulson immediately reported the situation here to Fury, without missing a single detail.

Listening to Coulson's detailed report, Fury unconsciously tapped on the table, the irregular tapping indicating his complex inner turmoil.

"God of Thunder, mjolnir, river god and Superman Aaron... Is today not April Fool's Day?"

Fury looked up at Hill.

"I have already urgently contacted DC Comics and collected databases of global foster families from twenty to twenty-five years ago, but we haven't found any foster child named Aaron."

"Perhaps he didn't grow up on Earth as in the comics, or it's possible he used or is currently using a pseudonym." Hill analyzed the problem methodically.

Fury rubbed his temples. "So, we still know nothing about Aaron's origin and identity?"

"A week ago, he suddenly arrived in the U.S. and took over Osborn."

"In just a few days, he launched the newborn serum, which can cure cancer, restore youth and prolong life, and even regenerate limbs, giving people new hope, thereby winning over all our allies."

"Then, he demonstrated a flying speed of at least Mach ten, and seemingly Superman-like strength. Perhaps he also possesses Super Defense, Super Vision, and other extraordinary abilities that make people change color upon hearing of them?"

"Now, he has also become a river god, capable of summoning water at will and retrieving three Divine Artifacts from the water?"

"This has only been one week. If we give him a few more years, will he tie the Earth with a chain and fly it around? Or blow out the Sun with a single breath? Punch and explode the Solar System?"

To understand Aaron, analyze Aaron, and target Aaron, S.H.I.E.L.D. internally sparked a comic-reading craze. They meticulously reviewed various materials about Superman, and the more they read, the more alarmed and terrified they became.

Superman is beyond human power.

DC has Batman, but they don't. They only have Tony, an extremely self-centered, compulsively working gym enthusiast. But he doesn't fit Bruce Wayne in any way.
