Chapter 87 - Aaron Has Committed Treason?

Several Fire Demons hesitated around the world of ice and snow, not daring to move forward.

Inside that circle of death, it was exactly like an ice and snow Hell.

Outside the circle, it was still a scorching Lava World.

Even Surtur, the King of the Fire Demons, found it quite difficult to resist this cold tide. He struggled to maintain the ceaseless flow of his lava blood.

At the same time, he continued the high-temperature ray. He believed all defenses had limits, even Aaron's strange armor. When the armor melted, his attack would be able to kill Aaron.

"Surtur, I suggest you stand on the right side next time you do this." Aaron said.

"What are you talking about?" Surtur was confused.

"Since ancient times, the left side always loses a beam struggle."

Aaron raised his hand, and the armguards of Emperor condensed immense energy.

The next instant, the surrounding protons and neutrons were gathered by powerful electromagnetic force, and a terrifying particle beam instantly tore through Surtur's high-temperature ray.

Surtur's sword was instantly knocked hundreds of meters away, embedding itself in a high cliff. Surtur was also sent flying dozens of meters, smashing his throne into pieces.

Inch-long cracks appeared on Surtur's muscular body, and countless tiny fissures spread.

But Surtur still laughed carelessly. "It's useless. Whatever you do is completely pointless."

"I am destined to destroy your homeland. My time will eventually come."

"Once my crown is bathed in the Eternal Flame again, I will recover all my power."

"I will be taller than mountains, plunging my sword deep into Asgard's..."

"Enough. Go tell that to Thor. I'm not interested in hearing your tales of Ragnarok."

Aaron interrupted Surtur's hopeful dream, suddenly thinking, 'Surtur is currently in a heavily damaged state. If I melt him now, will I be unable to maximize the benefits?'

"Speaking of the Eternal Flame, are you referring to this?"

Thinking this, Aaron spread his five fingers, and the familiar fire joyfully leaped between the armguards on his hand.

"The Eternal Flame! My fire!"

Surtur widened is eyes, dragging his crumbling body forward and lunging.

"Don't worry, it is yours. I am giving it to him now." Aaron's gaze was malicious.

He took a step, arriving in front of Surtur, and the Eternal Flame in his hand struck the other party's head with a bang.

However, Surtur was not only not angry but greedily absorbed the Eternal Flame.

"More! I want more!"

Faced with the temptation of recovering his power, Aaron's rude behavior was ignored by him.

His body rapidly grew larger. Just a palm-sized ball of Eternal Flame quickly expanded him to over a hundred meters tall, and he was still growing.

"Not enough. It is still missing something."

Aaron was not satisfied with Surtur's growth speed. Another ball of Eternal Flame appeared in his hand, which he tossed onto Surtur's crown.

Heimdall, watching this scene from the Bifrost Bridge, was shocked. "All-Father, Aaron has committed treason!"

Odin, whose mood had greatly improved after chastising Thor, was about to return to his palace.

Upon hearing Heimdall's urgent communication, he ignored his doubts, immediately activated teleportation, and brought Thor with him to the Bifrost Bridge.

"Heimdall, what has happened?"

"All-Father, Aaron went to Muspelheim. He gave the Eternal Flame to Surtur, and now that fire demon is rapidly recovering his strength."

Heimdall immediately shared his vision with Odin and Thor.

"Huh? This thing is much bigger than I imagined."

Thor looked at the mountain peak that only reached Surtur's waist, considered his own minuscule body, and couldn't help but gasp.

"Just how big is this thing?"

Heimdall immediately gave the answer, "Four thousand three hundred and fifty-one meters, and he is still growing."

Thor secretly measured the physical disparity between himself and Surtur. He wondered, could he really shake such a terrifying monster?

His thunder... it probably couldn't destroy a mountain, could it?

Odin frowned deeply.

"All-Father, we cannot wait any longer. Once Surtur fully recovers his strength, he will lead the Fire Demons to threaten Asgard."

"Please allow me to immediately activate the Bifrost Bridge and completely destroy Muspelheim."

Heimdall did not wish to destroy a celestial body. But if this planet was too evil, for the sake of Asgard, he would not hesitate to become the executioner.

"Wait a moment longer, Aaron is still there." Odin shook his head.

Heimdall urgently said, "But All-Father, Aaron has already committed treason."

"I personally saw him hand the Eternal Flame over to Surtur."

Odin said nothing, tightening his grip on Gungnir in his hand.

Thor remained silent, staring blankly at Aaron and Surtur. He wondered if he could truly be a qualified king.

"Father, how exactly did you defeat this massive monster back then?"

Odin seemed to recall unpleasant memories, shaking his head and saying, "It's because Asgard stood behind me."

"You mean... unity?"

"No, what I mean is, I had no choice but to defeat him."

Surtur was arguably the most powerful of the many enemies Odin had defeated.

To defeat Surtur, Asgard, even at its peak, paid a heavy price.

But now, Surtur had revived once more.

"Aaron, what are you trying to do?"

Looking at Aaron, Odin was filled with confusion.

Just then, Aaron finally nodded in satisfaction. "That's enough. It's time for the harvest."

"Asgardian, you are too arrogant."

Surtur had grown larger and stronger.

He was surprised that Aaron, this strange Asgardian, would return the Eternal Flame to him. But this did not dispel Surtur's hatred for Asgard.

"The me right now is invincible. As thanks, I shall grant you death."

Surtur swung the thousands-of-meters-high twilight sword. A force of countless tons smoothly sliced through a nearby thousand-meter giant mountain. It carried a monstrous demonic might, raging and erupting like a super volcano that had accumulated energy for hundreds of millions of years.

The scorching lava fell like rain, melting the ice and transforming the land into a Lava Domain.

And his roar was deafening like thunder, instantly shattering the sky and tearing apart the boundless black clouds.

But Aaron remained unmoved.

"Grant me death? You are not worthy yet."

Absolute Zero.

Aaron silently chanted in his heart, and the unique power of the Casket of Ancient Winters instantly erupted.

The previously shaky ice and snow domain solidified once more.

Surtur, thousands of meters high, was instantly frozen by a power of absolute zero that erupted from Aaron's physical body before he could even react.

The mountainous twilight sword was also frozen in mid-air by the cold, unable to descend further.

Even though Surtur possessed the power to destroy planets, he was temporarily unable to break through the force that froze space and time.

Time seemed to halt at this moment.

Aaron instantly appeared thousands of meters high, stepping on Surtur's crown and placing his hand upon it.

Melt down.

The Primordial Furnace, like a black hole, spun rapidly.

The immobilized Surtur was unable to escape the Primordial Furnace's attack. Soon, the Crown of Black Fire, larger than a house, was half melted, and a large chunk of Surtur's physical body also vanished.
