I brought in a dedicated HR specialist to handle all our recruitment needs, passing the entire hiring process into their capable hands.
The weight of constantly searching for new talent lifted from my shoulders—now someone else could manage the endless interviews and paperwork.
Our team was expanding rapidly, and this cramped studio space couldn't accommodate our growth much longer. We needed to move, and fast.
I'd already secured our new office location, and Madeline and I had chosen next week as our moving date—picked for good luck, naturally.
Madeline stretched out across the couch in my studio, taking a well-deserved break as her gaze drifted toward the ceiling.
"Honestly, I figured we'd be stuck in this tiny place for ages. It's wild that it's only been some time. Did we even bother renewing the lease?"
She mused, her voice carrying a mix of surprise and exhaustion.
