Jefferson's POV

The evening breeze swept across my face as I walked toward my car, every detail of Freddie's assignment running through my mind like clockwork. Malcolm would experience the slow destruction of everything he held dear. Each calculated move would strip away his arrogance, leaving him broken and desperate. The satisfaction of watching his empire collapse piece by piece made my blood sing with anticipation.

I slid behind the wheel, the engine purring to life beneath my touch. My fingers wrapped around the steering wheel with practiced control, the predator in me stirring restlessly. This was what I lived for. The hunt. The calculated destruction of those foolish enough to challenge me.

Anyone who crossed my path learned the same harsh lesson.
