Elisabeth's POV
I had to admit Javier was right about one thing - I needed better influences in my life. The company I kept had stayed up with me all night, drinking wine and sharing stories until the early hours. I learned everything about Nadia's relationship hopes, how she was dating someone she desperately wanted to propose soon. Alana regaled us with tales of her enormous family, the same relatives I had met countless times. Despite her complaints about her six sisters being annoying, I would have given anything for parents who doted on me and the beautiful chaos that came with her large family.
Still, I wouldn't have wanted to spend my fake wedding night any other way.
