Tamara: Is there something else?
Vince: don't tell me you don't want to go home anymore
Tamara: No, I'm going, thanks for dropping me off
Vince: Why do you live in a hotel?
Tamara: My friend lent me his suite
Vince: You don't have money for rent?
Tamara: I do but this place is very good
Vince: coz it's free?
Tamara: No, it's very comfortable
Vince: You can go now and one more thing, next time I chat you make sure you don't end the discussion abruptly.
Tamara: (confused) hmm
Vince: You can go
Tamara: Oh, thanks for today, good night
I got out of the car and waved goodbye to him before going into the hotel building. When I reached my suite I freshen up immediately and went to bed, while trying to sleep my mind went back to the events of the evening. I don't know Mr Holland, this is just my second time meeting him but it feels as if I have known him for a long time. There's this feeling that always arises whenever I'm with him but I don't want to get attached to someone I don't know. I don't know why he took me out today but I'm grateful for the evening tour but the fact that I don't know when I will see him again makes me feel empty for no reason, I just wish I can be able to see him more often.
AUTHOR'S POV
Vince was on his way home after dropping Tamara off at the lilies hotel. He took her to that beach because he wants to avoid some people who might be keeping a tab on him, he didn't want them to notice Tamara and start looking into her. He had enjoyed his dinner date with her, no matter how annoying she is he still feels comfortable and satisfied whenever he's with her. Her unfiltered behavior will always be the best for him compared to the people surrounding him. Her laughter and frown are the most beautiful so far. But she sure knows how to annoy him, she's the only one that is capable of bringing out all the emotions in him at the same time. Imagine her telling him that she lives in a hotel because it's comfortable, what nonsense. There's nothing comfortable about that rubbish. For God's sake, he has places that are far better than that. He believes she's staying there because it's free and belongs to that friend of hers. When he asked May to check on Tamara's whereabouts she had told him that Tamara lives in a hotel, how absorb. After investigating, he found that the hotel belonged to her so-called friend who had lent his suite to her. Henry had specifically said that this girl doesn't have friends and now, what is this? It's not just a friend but a male friend that literally knows everything she's doing. Now he remembered her happy expression when he had stopped to pick her up by the road, she must have thought it was that friend of hers and what did she do when she found out it was him? The silly girl frowned like crazy. She ran back earlier but on finding out it was him, she started giving excuses to leave. At that point he regretted coming to meet her but he wasn't going to let her have her way. Anyway, he believes that for a girl of her age, living in a hotel isn't advisable so he's going to find another place for her and she has no choice than to leave that hotel. His employee deserves a suitable place for living. He also thinks he should find a way to get closer to her, at least he can always know what she's up to.
TAMARA'S POV
The following days at work, we were all busy as always working together to build a configuration for our new project. Jetro is set to build a car for the first time and this is not just any car but an electric car that can also diffuse solar energy, this project could be the most difficult for Jetro,
so as a result the entire headquarters of Jetro, including the mechanical, electrical and other departments we are all in a serious battle. The new car will be named Jezz, so Jezz has kept us occupied for this period of time.
My holidays have finally come to an end and I'm traveling home for the weekend before resuming school next week. I have put so much of my effort into the Jezz project but it's unfortunate I will be leaving soon but I have decided to always show up during weekends.
