Callan knew exactly what Eden did. She openly put everyone on notice that her mage was not to be touched or it was an act of war. He would have to find a reason to attack her and isolate her from her supporters. Starting a war among each other at this rate would not be good for him. She was connected to Expat and Jericho. Both are well known in the server for their fighting skill. However, he did manage to plant a seed of doubt in Expat without him noticing. Just presenting evidence and making a suggestion of what it meant was enough for most people to start thinking on their own. He had to continue making progress at reaching out to others. He needed someone else to make a jaw dropping truth or convincing suggestion about Eden. He looked around to see who could be a good target to do just that. Then his eyes landed on Isabella who was sitting with some males showing off her dress as she gave turns. He excused himself from Flora and said he didn't want her to be subject to someone like Isabella.
Callan walked over to the group and greeted the men first who were enjoying the spectacle. They cheerfully said hello to him and continued exchanging stories. Then Isabella jumped in the conversation and said, "Callan, where is the pretty lady you were just with?" Callan looked at her and said, "Oh Isabella, I didn't notice you there. I was focused on DR.Khoala." Isabella pouted and said, "Are you sure you didn't notice?" Callan then leaned in to whisper, "don't keep questioning me, you don't know what I do to bad girls." Isabella gasped and her cheeks flushed. Then with a smirk, Callan asked, "I thought you were Expats' plus one. Why is he with Eden?" Isabella crossed her arms and said, "I don't know what kind of witchcraft she did on him. He won't spend time with me anymore." Callan smiled seeing his opportunity and asked, "Oh, did she offer him something more than you could offer?" She got red and said, "I doubt it, she looks too covered for that." Callan then pressed, "I wouldn't be too sure, then why would he refuse such a beauty like you?" Isabella's face dropped and her jealousy was getting the best of her. Then Callan gave his final blow, "Oh we shouldn't talk about her so openly, she is untouchable. Just perfect."
Isabella stomped over towards Eden and cut in the conversation she was having with Elise. "Expatriate, why don't you treat me the same as before? You used to be kind and sweet towards me. Did Eden give you something more than I did?" she said loudly for all to hear. Eden turn to look at her and said, "What the fuck did you just say?" Expat tried to cover Eden's view from Isabella by standing in front of her. "Isabella, that's enough. You need to stop," he ordered her. Isabella's eyes widened and she began to fume. "So it's true, she gave you more!" Eden's nostrils started flaring up. Sylvie moved in closer to her and asked, "Do you want me to kill her?" Eden started to control herself and think about the situation. How can she clear her name from this malicious rumor she's starting to spread? "You assume I offered something more than you have, but the truth is I am worth more and you sold yourself for cheap tricks," said Eden confidently. Isabella looked around and said, "sold myself to who? If there's anyone here that has anything to admit, step forward. I never took my clothes off for cheap tricks." Eden narrowed her eyes, then said, "I didn't specify taking your clothes off. You just told everyone what you have done in the privacy of your castle." Isabella was stunned and took a step back. Then she said, "prove it." Expat responded instead, "stop being stupid Isabella, Eden and I have never done anything inappropriate than have a close friendship. You keep insisting and it's starting to look desperate." Elise whispered in Eden's ear, "You better be careful in keeping your man, I might want him to myself at his display of loyalty and protection." Eden didn't look away from Isabella, but replied, "unless you're willing to lower yourself like she is, you're better off attracting another man." Elise smirked and drank from her glass before talking, "Well, thank you everyone. Can we give an applause to this clown?" The crowd clapped and laughed. Isabella looked around and back at Eden, then she said, "you think you won, but I won. I can leave this place knowing I lived my life to its fullest." She then stormed out of the building.
Eden thanked Elise for her strategic way of ending the altercation. Then looked at Expat with a look that would kill. Callan on the other hand was furious inside. He said, "useless," in a low tone of voice. He still hadn't made his rounds and was in a sour mood. Then Flora approached him saying, "you weren't kidding about that one. She's a loose cannon." Callan smiled and said, "I try my best to keep the peace, but sometimes you can't control what others will do. They both chuckled a little, then Flora asked him to dance. Callan agreed and led the way. Then from the corner of his eye he noticed Eden moving towards the exit with Expat.
Callan looks over at Dr.Khoala to take over for him. As soon as his substitute arrived he excused himself as something urgent happened and he would be back. Flora nodded and kept dancing. Eden was waiting for her carriage to arrive since Expats' had already taken off. He wanted to wait for hers, but she insisted. He reluctantly got in his carriage and left. Eden heard Callan calling to her and turned around noticing his quick pace towards her. He said "out loud for her to hear, leaving so soon?" Eden was about to answer when she noticed the gargoyle fly past Callan and straight to Sylvie who got into a stance ready to fight. Eden quickly yelled, "Erza!" The gargoyle crashed into the invisible barrier around Eden and Sylvie. Then was struck by electricity and blown back with immense force. "What's the meaning of this! My protection shield had to be activated," yelled Eden. Callan closed his eyes in frustration, "stupid gargoyle," he thought. He then came up with a response, "are you okay? What was that about? My guide acted on its own. Is it safe to be around these things?" Eden looked at him for a moment as she observed a worried expression, but felt it ingenuine. "I think I had enough drama for the day, I'll go home. Let me know what you figured out about your guide," she said as she turned away towards her carriage. Erza was still invisible and floated over them, casting the protective shield on them. Callan was not happy with the outcome, but he didn't want to keep talking about what just happened. He would have to come up with a believable explanation. On the other hand, he figured out one of the powers the Lycan has, protective shield. He would have to figure out how to draw the mage away from her when the time comes. In addition, they completed one mission, they found one Lycan under Eden's command and he could use it to his advantage in the future. Somehow he would find the opportunity to twist the narrative.
