"Aah!!"
"Enter the void"
"Aah!!" Seren wailed loudly as he tumbled from his bed to the ground.
"Crack" the sound of the lamp echoed as he crashed it to the ground.
"Another nightmare" He said softly as sweat trickled down his face.
"And as usual I can't remember anything, What's happening to me??" He thought
Meet Seren Fauster, the only child of his father. His father, Xander Fauster was the Feudal Lord's personal butler. His mother was regarded as the phoenix priestess of Cairhien when she was alive. She died when Seren was 16.
Seren walked up to her portrait he hung on the wall of his room.
"It's been 5 years since you left"
Seren let out a long sigh before taking the portrait on the wall. He placed it on his chest and caressed it deeply.
"Hey Seren, are you up?" A voice interrupted the moment. The door swung open and guy about the same age as Seren stood. Nathaniel by name. He was a replica of Seren. Tall, dark skinned with black hair. The only thing contrasting them was the color of their iris as Seren's iris was thick black while this person's iris was as the rays of the sun.
"What is it, Nath?" Seren said with a frown on his face.
"I decided to take you away from this depressed state" Nathaniel took the picture and hung it back on the wall
"Hey Nath, give it back"
"No I won't, it belongs to the wall. If mum saw you like this she would be pissed"
"Why do you like ruining the moment?"
"I'm not ruining anything, I just want you to loosen up" Nathaniel defended.
Nathaniel was Seren's cousin. Their fathers, Xander and Xenox were identical twins so the boys took that from their father. Unfortunately, Nathaniel lost his mum at childbirth and his dad three years after. Xander took him in and raised them together as his boys so Nathaniel considered them as his parents and Seren his twin brother despite the fact that he (Nathaniel) is a year older.
"Hey you're sweating, tell me you had another nightmare"
"And as usual, I do not remember" Seren added.
"I'll tell dad to inform Gitara abou---"
"No, don't tell dad to" Seren cut him
"And why is that?" Nathaniel asked
"I'm tired of visiting Gitara and there's still no solution to this problem. I'm starting to doubt her capabilities as the Wisdom of Cairhien" Seren said as he sat on his metal bed.
"I understand how frustrating it can be, you being the son of the phoenix priestess and nothing to show for it and th--"
"Don't even go there. I've already given up on becoming like her. They can continue to call me trash for all I care" Seren said
"Look you might be satisfied with this but I'm not!!" Nathaniel yelled.
"Wow, what's with the rise in tone" Seren who looked surprised at Nathaniel's outburst
"Listen when I'm talking to you! I know how awesome you are and I want the world to see how awesome you are, that's why I'm not giving up on you, you hear me?"
"For the very first time, you acted like you're older than me. Look, it's already enough that you see me that way. Like I said, I don't have to please everybody" Seren said
"Well all I'm saying is put more effort, who kn---"
"Knock knock"
Nathaniel was interrupted by the knock on the door.
"Who the hell dares to interrupt me?" Nathaniel said in a low voice
"Who knows, maybe it's dad" Seren whispered.
"Oh no, I totally forgot"
"Forgot what?"
"We are on cleaning duty for the coronation" Nathaniel said.
"Maybe dad came to fetch us cuz we're very late. That means we're in big trouble" Seren said as he placed his hands on his head.
"All because you overslept"
"How is that my fault and what kept you if not staring at Ylva all the time"
"Oh shut up, dong bring her into this"
"Knock knock"
"I'll go get the door " Nathaniel said as he dashed out of the room
"Knock knock "
"C-coming"
Nathaniel opened the door to see a guard from the feudal Lord's palace.
"Oh, it's you. How can we help you?"
"Your father called for the both of you. Your attentiona are needed in order to prepare adequately for the coronation of Prince Abbey" the guard relayed the message.
"Oh, that. We'll be right behind you"
The guard took a bow and left. Nathaniel slammed the door and went to Seren's room.
"I had totally forgotten today was Abbey's coronation" Nathaniel said.
"Prince Abbey, one day you'll be punished for your disregard for him" Seren cautioned.
"Oh please, he doesn't deserve it. To think we were once friends in the past"
"I wonder what changed him. He usually played and flowed with us but everything changed after he returned from his stay in the outside world"
"Look here Seren, people change and many things causes these changes. It could be that the kind of people he mingled with over there changed him that's why he looks down on us as trash" Nathaniel explained.
"To think he was the one who approached us to be pals with him, that's disheartening"
"I just hope he doesn't become something else when he becomes the feudal lord"
"If he becomes worse, then I'll forget our past friendship and I'll definitely plan his assassination " Nathaniel said as he beat his chest.
"You really mean that?"
"Of course, now go get dressed, we're already late and we're getting an earful from dad"
"I'll go get dressed, please wait for me okay?"
"You had better hurry, the time is far spent" Nathaniel said as he dashed out of the room to put one or two things in order.

"Hey Leki, you were the one amongst the three of us who desired peace between celestials and humans, I wonder what you saw that changed you. The peace you so desired has been established, although evil hasn't been completely eliminated from us but it's an era of peace. I'm sure you'd have enjoyed it" An old man who sat on the chair said as he gazed at the sky.
"But don't worry, we'll soon be united together. When we do so, let's watch the peach blossoms together with Sekhmet okay?" The old man added as a large smile filled his face.
"Greetings Lord Shimla, deity of the stars" a voice was heard from behind.
"Oh, is that you Hanyi?" The old man asked.
"Yes it's me" the voice replied.
"Thanks for keeping me posted but it seems I'll likely step in"
"Why is that my lord?" Hanyi asked.
"A storm is coming and I need to join with my big brother so as to thwart this chaos. The world needs it's cosmic deities" The old man said as he stood up with his eyes glued to the crimson son.
