"Daddy! tell us a bedtime story!!"Zaliyah's ominous black hair danced happily as she jumped on bed. Every strand of her creating an ocean like strand while her beautiful locks glistened under the bright orb, shining through their window. Her icy blue eyes pierced at it looked at the fellow adult with excitement.
"Zaliyahhh... I don't want a story. They're so boring..." Malakai rolled his eyes in frustration. His different shaded eyes, one kissed with fresh leaves, mixed with a hint of ocean blue eyes. With his wild midnight hair floating beneath his jaw, his body falling on the cloud like bed dramatically.
They both watched as the boy rolled his eyes. their father gently placed a book on the bookshelf, his eyes sparkled with love "hey, hey." his head turned, staring at the two children. "Well. I'll tell you a different story, this time I'm sure you'll like it. It was the adventures of I and your mom's cheerful days" a tall figure said gently playing with their hair.
"it's about mommy? I want to know!" Zaliyah danced happily on the bed "Malakai!! It's about mommy"
"I heard... I want to know more about mother... I'm listening" Malakai muttered quietly. trying to mask his entertainment.
they both let out a joyful chuckle, clearly seeing through Malakai's façade.
their father gently pulled a thick star-shaped duvet over their wiggling bodies "Well, it's going to be a long. But here goes nothing... it all happened... ten thousand years ago."

"Ten thousand years ago, a God descended to a planet called earth. This figure with long, pale, pure coloured hair that stretched for miles, each strand flowed at every step they took, like a gentle breeze on a spring day, their clothed were drowned with rare gems nobody knew or heard of. Dashed with a royal blue hooded cloak that covered its mysterious face. Nobody had truly seen their face, nobody knew their gender, but they had immense power, a power that can suppress the heavens itself, or even destroy it. With the power they created 4 nations due to boredom and loneliness. these four nations where:
- Aquaria- land of underwater creatures
Lumira- land of angels
Eden, land of humans
silver dust- land of elves
However, 3 thousand years went by swiftly, the peaceful times were quickly crumbling. Eden grew jealous of the lack of power they possess. Angles claimed the sky's, flying through the clouds. Mer folks swam in the deepest darkest parts of the sea. fairies were one with nature, kissed by mother nature Herself, they could control the four elements, earth, wind water air. They tried to steal, overpower, harm other lands. however, it wasn't enough. Slowly, their desire turned into obsession.
the God, hearing their pleas, decided to gift them with strength, intelligence and great architect skills. However, the endless greed consumed them, not only did they want power from other nations, but they also wanted power like the God. With evil intent they plotted to kill the God. Heartbroken by the rumours, the God decided to create leaders with their power of creation, leaders to lead, to create rules and harmony from every nation. However, it only caused more chaos, a great division was created between the rich and poor, rules unbalanced. But they all craved something.
A God's power.
The 4 nations gained more knowledge, learning more about the God's incredible powers, they wanted to claim it for themselves. This discord created war, fighting, weaponry across all nations. each nation eager to claim the immense power.
saddened by their creations fighting for their power, they decided to share its soul to the rest of the world. with a heavy heart, the god created four gems with bits of their power into these gems. and their last remaining force across the globe. however, since the world's population was mainly 75% water, most of the God's essence landed into the oceans, rivers and seas.
This never ended the conflict between the nations, they all tasked themselves with a new mission, to revive the God and steal its power. out of the three nations.
the land of under creatures, Aquaria were targeted because of their abilities, since most of the God's essence landed into the waters, this made the creatures, animals, and plants have unbelievable gifts. Mer folks' abilities were:
crying out round gems like the God's cloak.
having immense abilities to control water
and having two legs like creatures on land.
the three nations, clouded by greed, jealousy and envy decided to control Aquaria, all three nations came together to try to conquer Aquaria. They created an "agreement" to stop all fighting and start trading peacefully with Aquaria. This agreement lasted for years, they attacked on the 8.18.67bc, the day after the third princess was born. striking an attack on the vulnerable empire led to the death of the royal family. the nations took advantage of the chaos and took its people, turning them into slaves, weapons for war and money.
we are now in the year 8.25.50bc. 17 years later, Mer folks have been at the brink of extinction. The constant death, inbreeding, less children being born have shrunk the population greatly.
But anyway, each nation is unique in a way, Aquaria our region, is known for having powerful water abilities that ranges depending on the person, we control the level of waters we are also known for being unbelievably beautiful and diverse, plus we're the most well-known species, since this land is 70% water.
It's been told that if all 4 gems come together, the god will be revived in the summoners body, the summoner will be able to control the Gods power or even the God itself. Or the god will be born again, to roam the lands again. And that's the history of our world" the setting changed to a lady with long dark blue, pin straight flowed swiftly on her shoulders, she smiled warmly at the children, ranging from different ages.
"One day, believe that someone will save us, we will be free and have our own lives without chains. do you guys agree?" a middle-aged lady with pale skin under the sun, spoke softly.
"Mom, you always tell that tale, we can't escape. we're here forever." nerine moaned with exhaustion.
"Maybe you're right, I'm getting my hopes up... maybe it will happen"
stomping footsteps approached, it sounded angry, impatient, tired. "Back to work, scatter" a man- a guard, lunged with a stoic face, his voice raspy and heartless. The children running to their assigned jobs like bees in a hive.
