Vorthax almost could not wait to pull Saphen into an embrace. Especially after Saphen said that, he felt even more delighted.
Sure enough, Saphen would forgive him!
Vorthax rubbed his chin against Saphen's hair and said softly, "I promise you, Saphen, I won't do it again. Let's eat, alright?"
Only then did Saphen notice that the sky outside had already darkened. It had clearly still been light when he came home.
Saphen could not remember how long he had been sitting on the floor. It was helpless and pitiful to the extreme.
He nodded and said quietly, "Let's eat."
Who knew when Vorthax had cooked. The kitchen was already filled with a rich, tempting aroma.
They ate as usual, only Saphen could not eat much. His mood was obviously still heavy.
Vorthax's attitude was extremely remorseful. After washing the dishes, he immediately clung to Saphen, constantly hugging and kissing him, as if doing so could prove that everything between them was still the same.
