Chapter 20 - 19

Kamuro Masumi was silent for a moment. "Seriously, can I hit you now?"

"No."

Despite his protest, she kicked him. Suzuki Toru felt insecure about his looks for the first time.

Soon after, it was Suzuki Toru's turn to get into the water. He had the good fortune of being in the same group as Hashimoto Masayoshi.

"Hahaha, Suzuki, let's do our best together!" Hashimoto Masayoshi gave him a bright smile, and then, with a whistle from the teacher, he suddenly dove into the water.

Suzuki Toru sighed inwardly and followed closely behind.

As expected, he was second to last.

Back in his original spot, Suzuki Toru could still see many girls staring intently at him, perhaps feeling disappointed.

"Your posture is wrong," someone said very seriously. "Your entry into the water is too slow, and your breathing is not proficient. Your body is excellent, you can practice more, Suzuki Toru."

For some reason, Morishita Ai left the main group of girls and stood beside him.

Oh, right, she had no friends, just like Kamuro Masumi, and she didn't care about social interactions either.

"Is Morishita good at swimming?" Suzuki Toru asked.

"I just noticed your problem, it's just the result of observation," Morishita Ai said words that were hard to understand. Was she good at swimming or not?

Suzuki Toru scrutinized the girl. She was somewhat tall, with long, straight legs, fair and delicate skin, and a hint of youthfulness. The remaining water droplets on her body slid down her one-piece swimsuit, flowing onto the skin of her thighs, seemingly not caring at all about appearing before boys in such a state.

He could sense the gazes around them occasionally glancing over, almost all focused on him.

"Why did you call out my name back then?" Morishita Ai asked, naturally puzzled. "Although we haven't spoken normally, I know you often peek at me. Your curiosity about me also makes me very curious about you."

This person really spoke in a roundabout way.

"How strange, I don't see any lewd gazes in your eyes. You don't seem interested in my body, but it's not like the way you look at a classmate. Your eyes are on me, yet I always feel like you're looking at something else."

Morishita Ai began to unilaterally speculate about his thoughts. From this, it seemed that she didn't know what personal space was.

"Why should I be interested in your body?" Suzuki Toru glanced at her. Her chest wasn't very large; she was at the age of budding shyness, like a budding lotus, with a promising future.

"You're peeking again." Morishita Ai immediately noticed his gaze. "If you're not interested, why are you looking?"

Because there are a few wishes on your chest, and they want me to reach out and press them. Suzuki Toru thought for a moment and didn't say that out loud.

Chapter 33: Step on Me

Speaking of peeking, Suzuki Toru just wanted to clarify one thing: he wasn't targeting Morishita Ai; in fact, he treated everyone the same.

It was just a matter of degree.

For example, Sakayanagi Arisu and Katsuragi Kohei, or Hashimoto Masayoshi and Shinohara Shingo, he would occasionally pay attention to other classmates as well.

The reason he noticed Morishita Ai was because her personality was very interesting, and she also had many wishes.

Although she couldn't compare to Sakayanagi Arisu, she was second only to Kamuro Masumi.

"Coming over alone to strike up a conversation with me, don't you care about what others think?" Suzuki Toru began to change the subject.

"Kamuro Masumi also struck up a conversation with you just now," Morishita Ai replied.

"It's different. She's my friend."

"How can I become your friend?"

"Because you're a very strange person."

"You're strange too."

For some reason, Morishita Ai seemed displeased, as if he had touched a nerve.

But she quickly returned to normal, asking out of the blue, "What do you want to do next?"

Suzuki Toru thought for a moment and said, somewhat uncertainly, "Exchange contact information with you?"

"Sure," Morishita Ai nodded, then shook her head again. "But I wasn't talking about that. Sakayanagi Arisu is very concerned about you, and Katsuragi Kohei has been a bit strange lately. I was wondering if it's because of something you did."

"Why do you assume it's me?" Suzuki Toru found it amusing.

"What did you write in that notebook? Can you tell me?" Morishita Ai asked him instead.

"No," Suzuki Toru said. "I write a diary in it, and a diary is only for oneself to read."

"But why are you peeking at me while writing a diary?"

Because I need to record the wishes on you. I can't just rely on my memory, can I?

"If I'm peeking at you, you must be peeking at me too, otherwise how would you know I'm peeking at you?" Suzuki Toru posed a soul-searching question.

Morishita Ai was momentarily stunned. She pondered for a while, unsure how to answer this fatal question.

However, before she could ponder for too long, Suzuki Toru interrupted her thoughts again.

"How do you feel now, Morishita?" Suzuki Toru found a place to sit. "Does having control over everyone's personal points give you a sense of great power?"

"It feels like a hassle. Did you push me out because you don't want to see Sakayanagi Arisu and Katsuragi Kohei split up too much?"

Morishita Ai hesitated for a moment, then followed him, sitting not too far away. He could see the slight indentation her small, upturned buttocks made, her calves drawn in, and her hands clasped around her knees—a classic athletic sitting posture. Her plump, fair upper thighs were exposed, and her delicate little feet were pressed together, with a slight blush on her small, round toes.

"Do you prefer Katsuragi or Sakayanagi?" Suzuki Toru asked.

"What do you think?" Morishita Ai countered.

At the same time, as if sensing his gaze, the girl's toes moved involuntarily, pressing slightly closer, and her arm blocked his view.

"You don't like either?" Suzuki Toru shifted his gaze from her thighs. "Actually, I don't like being ordered around either."

"I didn't say I don't like them; it's just that with them around, I don't need to do anything, so it doesn't matter," Morishita Ai rebutted him very seriously.

"Is that so? What if they both lose?" Suzuki Toru looked at her profile again. A few strands of hair slid down her smooth shoulder onto her neck, and her earlobe was as translucent and soft as jade.

"Before that, I'll try a little harder." Morishita Ai was a bit displeased. His gaze was utterly uninhibited, yet without much lewdness. "Is Suzuki Toru not confident in them?"

"Perhaps someone could do better."

Morishita Ai stared at him, as if she could see through his thoughts this way.

"Suzuki Toru is very ambitious."

"If someone can help you graduate from Class A, that doesn't matter, right?"

"Hmm, it doesn't matter."

"How would you feel if you saw that he paid a considerable price?" Suzuki Toru said. "Like, if two hundred million personal points could get you to graduate from Class A, and someone paid that many points for you, what kind of person do you think they would be?"

Morishita Ai thought seriously for a moment, then replied, "They must be a very hardworking idiot."

"Why an idiot?" Suzuki Toru asked.

"The corresponding points should be spent on the corresponding person, and I don't think I'm worth that many points," Morishita Ai replied as a matter of course.

"Add another premise: what if these points came with conditions?"

Morishita Ai suddenly looked at him very warily and shook her head. "Although I'm very cute, I'm not considering dating for now."

"It's just a hypothetical, and am I receiving a friend-zone card from you now?" Suzuki Toru felt a bit speechless.

"Because you've been looking me over," Morishita Ai curled her toes. "I don't think someone who stares at a girl would make any normal requests, especially Suzuki Toru, who stares at feet."

No, it's mainly because of the wishes, so I instinctively started thinking about how to lick your jade feet, or how to be stepped on by you.

"What level of request can you accept?" Suzuki Toru continued to ask.

Morishita Ai hesitated, "Not an excessive request… I need to hear what your request is first."

"What if every request I make benefits both you and everyone else?" Suzuki Toru said. "For example, if I ask you to be a spy and gather information from other classes, would you be willing?"

Morishita Ai refused, "I'm not suitable to be a spy. My personality is too strong; it would attract attention."

...So you know you're strange too.

"Give me your hand, Morishita," Suzuki Toru said to her.

Morishita Ai looked at him motionlessly, as if to say, I'm not stupid at all.

"It's a handshake between friends," Suzuki Toru added.

Hearing this, Morishita Ai finally hesitated and extended a hand, her five fingers fair and clean, which he then gently held in his.

Soon, Suzuki Toru released her small hand as lightly as a dragonfly touching water.

"Just trust me like this, Morishita."

Morishita Ai pursed her lips, wanting to smile, and then she very seriously extended her hand again.

"Suzuki Toru, let's shake hands again."

Although he couldn't understand what she was thinking, Suzuki Toru again held her small hand; the girl's hand was warm and soft.

"...You really are strange," Morishita Ai peered at his reaction. "It seems I'll have to observe you more often from now on, Suzuki Toru."

"My feet aren't as good-looking as yours, so no thanks," Suzuki Toru politely declined.

Morishita Ai corrected him seriously, "I wasn't observing that."

"What part do you want to look at?"

"I want to look at… I wasn't talking about that. This about you is strange."

"Honestly, can you step on me now?"

While the two were chatting, Sakayanagi Arisu on the spectator stand was also watching this scene.

Did his so-called performance refer to laughing and playing with the girls in the same class?

Chapter 34: Because You Are Also a Defective Product

Almost at the same time, Horikita Suzune stood in the teachers' office, facing her Class D homeroom teacher.

"I want to know why the school put me in Class D," Horikita Suzune asked without reservation.

Before her was a young female teacher, approximately in her twenties or thirties, wearing a suit jacket. Her tight, hip-hugging pencil skirt, common for professional women, had a slight elasticity, revealing the curves of her plump thighs. Her legs were slightly together, calves long and straight, and thin black stockings encased her jade legs, extending all the way to the hem of her skirt. The rounded curve of her buttocks was faintly visible, exuding a strong sense of mature femininity.

On the first day of school, this female teacher had introduced herself in Class D as Chabashira Sae.

"That's an unexpected question. Have you already learned something?" Chabashira Sae raised an eyebrow. She knew very well what kind of students she had in her class.

From any angle, Horikita Suzune would not be the first to discover the school's true nature.

Did someone tell her something?

"Based on student merit, excellent students are in Class A, and the underachievers are in Class D," Horikita Suzune said calmly. "Regarding the entrance exam, I am confident I answered most of it correctly, and there were no mistakes in the interview either. I really can't think of any reason to place me in Class D."

"It seems you're quite proud of yourself. I admit your academic ability is outstanding. Your entrance exam score was the third highest in the entire grade, truly excellent, and there were no mistakes in your interview; rather, it was highly praised."

Chabashira Sae's tone was calm. She had already reviewed the Class D files for this year, and only a few students had managed to catch her attention.

Horikita Suzune could be considered one, but her adaptability to this school was still unclear.

However, the original plan was for her and Ayanokoji Kiyotaka to work hard for the class, but she came to her earlier than expected.

"Thank you very much for your evaluation, but precisely because of that, I feel confused."

"Confused… Before that, I want to know where you learned this?" Chabashira Sae probed. "Who told you this?"

"That question isn't relevant right now, I just want to know why." Horikita Suzune frowned, though she didn't realize her tone sounded like an interrogation.

Teachers have an obligation to explain student queries, no matter the explanation, and cannot refuse to answer questions within the rules.

Well, if students don't ask, teachers don't need to explain.

Chabashira Sae calmly scrutinized Horikita Suzune before her, and slowly began, "Being good at academics is one thing, but who told you that academically excellent students could enter Class A?"

Horikita Suzune was stunned, somewhat at a loss, and quickly said, "But normally, schools can only judge a student's level based on their grades, right?"

"That much cannot be denied. However, in reality, grades don't represent everything. In high schools outside, there are also people with poor grades who can get into university through special talents," Chabashira Sae said calmly.

Horikita Suzune was speechless for a moment, and couldn't help but purse her lips tightly.

Seeing her like this, a hint of disappointment flashed in Chabashira Sae's eyes, but she continued calmly, "In this school, academic ability doesn't mean everything. Otherwise, students like Sudo wouldn't have been able to enroll. To cultivate truly excellent individuals, your academic ability alone is not enough, Horikita."
