ISOBEL
I hurriedly walked away from Ophelia, but her words kept echoing in my head. I will find out what you did to my son.
I hated how she said it, and it sounded like I was some kind of manipulator who had tricked Mason into standing up for me and protecting me. If only she knew the truth, but she didn't and I was grateful for that. I would do everything in my power to make sure that she didn't find out about what happened between Mason and I.
She didn't have to know, because I had made a silent promise to myself to avoid Mason at all costs and when I manage to clear my name and eyes are no longer on me, I'd leave the pack for good, to start afresh.
I let out a deep breath as I got to the garden. The gazebo was in front of me and there was no one around, making it quiet and serene.
