I felt the pain hit me in my head the moment I opened my eyes. My body felt like it had been crushed by something heavy, and my muscles were sore and heavy. It ached so bad like I had ran a marathon, and when I tried to move, I realized that my hands were tied behind my back.
I was on the ground and I was lying on my side. The surface was rough and cold and the dirt pressed against my cheek. The road was lonely and the air smelt like wet wood and blood. For a moment, my eyes suddenly became blurry and I quickly blinked to get rid of the haze and the it slowly sharpened, and that was when I realized that there were two rogues standing in front of me.
Every memory that I had forgotten quickly came rushing back to me in an instant. I remember how we were awkward in the car ride and then we were suddenly attacked by rogues and before I could react, they released a weird powder in the air and for some reason, it made me incredibly weak
