''Yeah this beat is sick bro...''. Togata says walking forward, as the song's music notes fill the area as well.
He looks over his shoulder back at the team. ''Boss lady, I trust that you can take care of then gang while I dip out''.
''Of course I can''. Aira says proudly hitting away one of the backup singers.
''Dope...''. Togata says with a sigh as he walks towards the rap song's music note in front of him. ''Different types of music have different effects here, pop sounds bubbly so it created bubbles or something...So rap must''.
''Enough!''. The pianist shouts as they play harder creating more music notes that fly towards Togata.
Togata touches the note as he disappears and reappears somewhere else dodging the notes unintentionally.
''Wait did he just teleport!?''. Momo exclaims.
Togata forms his mask as it shapes into a grin. ''Hell ya''.
Togata throws his scythe as it ricochets around the opera house slicing through the backup singers rapidly, quickly reducing their numbers.
''WOAH!''. Everyone shouts impressed.
''You've used that trick before''. Aira scoffs with a smile.
''Nothin' wrong with being a one trick pony...Just need ta make sure you're good as hell at it''. Togata says jumping around teleporting around the enemies slicing at them with the scythe then throwing it as it ricochets hitting from a different angle before teleporting after it.
''He's using the music notes to ricochet his scythe!''. Okarun says excitedly.
Suddenly the team are overwhelmed with enemies as the powerless Rin, Okarun and Momo run around dodging attacks.
''AHHH TICK HELP!''. Momo shouts.
''On my way!''. Tick says as he carries three of them. ''Carrying three of you is quite tedious!''.
''And he's like teleporting around using these things...Evil gun!''. Jiji says as he shoots an evil gun at one of the rap music notes and it teleports the attack right at the face of one of the titans taking it down.
'''WOAH Jiji! How'd you do that?!''. Momo shouts watching from above.
''The music notes from our music! They teleport whatever they touch''. Jiji explains.
''I see''. Aira says inspecting. ''So that is what he is doing''.
Aira touches a note as she appears in the sky slamming down into one of the titans before covering its head with her hair pulling it downwards. ''Quite useful''.
Meanwhile Togata jumps around disappearing and reappearing at random but somehow managing to control his movements inching closer to the musicians who are flying away around the opera house.
''Yeah but he's way better at it than you''. Momo says.
''No he is not! He's just luckily teleporting wherever his scythe goes!''. Aira complains.
''No...He looks like he's actually controlling where he's going somehow''. Okarun comments.
Togata spins slicing as the orchestra retreats mid-air, instruments screaming as they fly backward, music notes barraging his position.
''He is getting closer we require aid!''. The pianist shouts.
One of the titans rushes forward completely leaving the team behind as it heads straight for Togata.
''Coward!''. Aira shouts pursuing it.
Seiko slams one of the last backup singers into the ground with her bat as she looks over. ''That seems to be all of em, now its just those bastards left''.
''I'm not sure we should think we're out of the woods just yet miss Seiko!". Okarun warns as above music notes fly down from above.
''Shit''. Seiko sighs.
''Evil Gun!''. Jiji shouts shooting the music notes in the air clearing the area. ''I can't do that much longer''. Jiji pants.
''It's better we stay put and let the kid take care of the portraits, we have people to protect''. Seiko says looking over at Tick, Okarun, Rin and Momo. ''Tick drop em I've got this, Togata will need the life force''.
''Indubitably miss Seiko''. Tick says with a bow.
''Well what do we do now!?''. Momo asks.
''Watch and try not to get blown up''. Seiko replies.
The titan stands above him as it throws a punch straight down. Togata throws his scythe as it ricochets wildly and leaps onto a rap music note suddenly he's in the air as he drops onto the titans neck grabbing his scythe as it flies straight into his hands with incredible speed, decapitating the titan before it can even take another step, still staring straight at the orchestra running backwards.
''HUH!?''. Everyone shouts.
''Throwing his scythe and moving at a different time...''. Okarun thinks out loud.
''It's making his movements unpredictable''. Aira replies.
The titan slowly disintegrates as it falls to it's knees and Togata gently steps off sighing as he slings his scythe over his neck. ''You gonna keep dragging this or you gonna come fight me and stop bolting around''.
''We have no intention of getting close to you boy...You have our notes to deal with! Symphony number 6!''. The pianist shouts.
They play harder as even more music notes fill the area.
''Hhuh!? Miss Seiko!''. Okarun shouts pointing.
''I can't destroy that many!''. Jiji exclaims.
''Togata we don't have much time, they're obviously trying to outlast us...Enough posing and deal with em already!''. Seiko shouts.
Togata looks over his shoulder with a smile. ''Handling it G-ma, I'm like...Totally locked in''.
He turns back to face the Orchestra.
Togata steps forward. Not rushing. Not chasing.
His cloak drags behind him, light bending where it passes.
A sharp click echoes from his cracked lens echoing through the opera house.
''You're still dragging it kid!''. Seiko shouts.
''Stop trying to look cool and end them already ya performative bastard!''. Turbo Granny shouts.
''Ugh fine!''. Togata replies fed up.
BOOM!
He throws his scythe but It doesn't spin wildly. It flies straight until it clips a music note, ricocheting at a perfect angle, then another, then another, carving a zigzag path through the orchestra's defenses.
The orchestra fires back. Notes freeze the air, explode outward, trying to box him in.
Togata snaps his fingers.
As a Rap music note seems to flash into existence.
The moment his boot touches it.
''Do''. Togata says.
He vanishes.
Reappears mid-spin on the next note already in motion, cloak flaring as gravity catches up late.
''Re''. Togata says again low.
Another teleport. He flips sideways through an explosion that goes off where he was, scythe snapping back into his hand mid-air.
The orchestra panics, stacking more walls, flying faster.
''KEEP DISTANCE''. The pianist shouts.
''Mi''. Togata says low.
Togata reappears on top of his scythe as it flips him forward hitting a music note to catch up to him. Riding the momentum as it ricochets again, using the notes as stepping stones.
Everyone stands there watching.
''Wait how is he doing that!?''. Aira shouts.
''Pay attention to what he's saying...''. Turbo granny replies watching intrigued. ''He's timing it''.
The backup singers scream and scatter, firing wildly.
Togata twists his wrist hitting the scythe into a music note on purpose as it flies out of his grip.
The scythe rebounds off three notes, changes direction mid-flight, then hangs in the air for half a second.
He grins. ''Found you''.
A rap note snaps into place behind him.
''Fa''. Togata says.
Teleport.
He appears beside the orchestra, exactly where his scythe is frozen mid air walking calmly as time seems to slow down for them, he grabs it nonchalantly already swinging.
The scythe arcs once.
Clean. Silent.
They don't fall immediately but their bodies lag behind as if reality itself is catching up.
Suddenly the head of the violinist flies off as he disintegrates and turns into a painting.
''No! Move back! Retreat!''. The pianist shouts as they fly off again.
''Sol''. Togata says.
He teleports again, boots cracking through frozen sound, cloak snapping like a torn curtain.
The orchestra screams as Togata keeps advancing incredibly fast but somehow just walking slowly. He flashes then disappears, reappearing again as he walks forward calmly just to disappear again. Each teleport dragging him closer while their own retreat runs out of space, reaching the inevitable.
They throw everything.
Walls. Explosions. Freezing notes.
Togata weaves through all of it flipping, spinning, vanishing and reappearing in perfect sequence, his scythe never leaving motion, always ricocheting, back into his hand or already waiting for him always exactly where it needs to be.
''La''. Togata says.
He throws his scythe as it ricochets wildly again, slicing off the neck of the trumpet player as it freezes and he teleports there grabbing it to slice off another head.
''Enough! Stop him! Stop him!''. The pianist shouts as they stop running away and fire everything they have.
Togata doesn't flinch but smacks his scythe head into the ground, a music note lying below as it ricochets in the small circle they stand in taking off another head.
''Ti''. He says.
Suddenly he disappears and as everything seems to go quiet with only two remaining as one of their heads flies off.
The pianist runs back leaving his piano in fear as he rushes away on foot. ''Leave me alone reaper! I beg of you! I'll do whatever you want!''.
''Can't do that Mozzy-head rules r rules''. Togata sighs as he appears behind him as he chases slowly not running. He throws his scythe as it ricochets off a music not just in front of the pianist as it readjusts, the sharp scythe head now flying backwards towards his neck perfectly played.
The pianist tries to block it.
''Do''. Togata says as he disappears, appearing just beside the pianist grabbing his scythe and changing the angle, decapitating him finally as he turns into a painting, beginning to disintegrate as the space disappears.
Everyone stares mouths wide as they are back in Momo's yard.
He stands over it watching as the other paintings on the ground begin to disintegrate.
''What...''. Rin says as she looks at him in awe.
Jiji's jaw drops.
''BADASS!''. Jiji and Okarun shout.
''Togata you're so strong!''. Vamola cheers with a smile.
''Hell ya nice one Togata!''. Momo shouts.
''I guess it was impressive''. Kinta says.
''Show off''. Turbo Granny scoffs.
Togata lies there panting on the ground as he sits down sighing and de-transforms.
''HUH!? But...First you were...Then...So quick!? How!?''. Okarun says intrigued.
''Incredible as always young master! You have our comrades star struck. Although you overdid it a bit''. Tick says excitedly rushing towards him.
''Yeah just a bit though''. Togata says with a smile looking outside Momo's yard as Death smiles and disappears. ''Guess this proves our theory''.
Togata stands up as he walks towards Momo's house. ''Danger averted I guess...Let's go eat I'm starving''. He says with a smile.
