At first, she was shocked since it never occurred to her that Roman Vale was gay! She felt a sense of loss, after all, it was her first time confessing and she had been rejected! Finally, she felt relieved at least it wasn't because she wasn't good enough just that it was because he liked boys!
Maryline took a deep breath, gave a relaxed smile and said, "Okay, then I wish the two of you well."
Roman Vale's attitude was unfriendly as he acknowledged her coldly with a hum. Thinking of the way Eli Thorne had looked at Maryline earlier, he understood it too well as a guy himself, and he felt extremely agitated.
