And in this darkness, all the light turned into the light from the Sun, which had just broken free from its cage. The rushing solar corona ravaged everything around it, and endless flames filled the sky, carrying the determination to purify everything and a deep hatred.
The Mind Illusion World could no longer contain the Sun's might, even though it was woven by the world's most powerful mental master.
The Sun was still rising, its brilliance erupting for thousands of feet. Everything here was enveloped in its light. The darkness also began to shatter, and countless cracks appeared on this darkness. Through these cracks, one could see countless brilliant colors. Those were everything Zhou Yi had been sealed away.
And this also meant that this Mind Illusion World was about to be destroyed, and Zhou Yi was about to break free.
Jason, who was in control, knew very well what Zhou Yi would do after escaping. He was terrified and panicked, unable to maintain the composure and calmness expected of a mental master. His voice began to echo in this world, sounding like a creator, issuing commands.

The fragmentation of his mental power had almost turned his brain into mush. In this state, he could no longer control the professor's consciousness.
While Professor Charles's facial orifices began to seep with crimson blood, a smile appeared on his face. His eyes were no longer vacant, and that gentle and wise look reappeared in them. He had regained his sanity and was no longer controlled by others.
As soon as he recovered, Professor Charles cast his gaze into the air. There were his friend and, most importantly, his student. They had both been severely injured because of him.
Golden flames began to surge around Zhou Yi, just like the Professor. He had already broken free from the illusion and returned to reality. In contrast, the Black Phoenix, who had just unleashed a terrifying Mind Storm with near-world-destroying power, was gradually quieting down.
Perhaps in the Mind Illusion World, it had been a long and endless time, but in reality, it was only a fleeting moment. And in that instant, one gained freedom, while the other fell into slumber.
The unconscious Black Phoenix could no longer unleash the terrifying Mind Storm. Her body gradually lost its support and began to fall. The Flood broke through the weakened barrier of the Mind Storm, rushing in like tens of thousands of untamed beasts, unstoppable. With a deafening roar, it shattered bricks and stones, twisted steel, and tore apart everything in its path.
The Black Phoenix's body was still falling, but it didn't fall into the Flood demon that devoured everything. Zhou Yi appeared beneath her and caught her body, embracing her in his arms.
Looking at this once gentle and elegant woman, lying quietly in his arms like a withered flower, Zhou Yi's heart surged violently. This surge formed a powerful impact, reflected in reality. A power even more terrifying than the Flood erupted, instantly forming a monster that devoured everything.

Steel and rock were ground into dust by the water, and this destruction spread until it reached the deepest layers of the Dam and the depths of the earth.
The Flood Vortex raged, spreading towards the center of the bridge.
Seeing the Vortex formed by the Flood about to reach Jason, Professor Charles couldn't help but activate his ability, re-entering Zhou Yi's mind.
"Calm down, Yi. Your mental fluctuations are too intense. You won't be able to control yourself like this."
"Get out of my head, Charles. I don't want to hurt you, but don't try to stop me." Zhou Yi responded in his mind, and Charles found his mind was almost like a volcano of rage.
"Don't let this anger control you, Yi. Calm down!" Fighting against Zhou Yi's anger, Charles began to control his own power, trying to delve into his mind to control the anger that was almost burning everything.
Although Jason had done many unforgivable things, Charles still wanted to give him another chance. For him, Jason was just a student who had gone astray, and he believed he could bring him back on track, as long as he gave him a chance.
However, this chance didn't depend on him, but on Zhou Yi. He also understood this, so he wanted to persuade Zhou Yi, even if he had to use his own abilities.
But Zhou Yi, who had already broken free from the Mind Illusion World, now found this kind of mental interference the most unbearable. Even if this interference came from Charles, who had good intentions, it was the same. His mind was sad and angry, and all of this was due to it.
