"Get back to school, Mr. Stark!"
On September 1st, 2007, sixteen-year-old Dean Stark was kicked out of his home by his older brother to attend high school.
After nearly seventeen years of knowing him, Tony Stark had finally confirmed that his younger brother was just an ordinary person with average intelligence.
But Dean Stark, now out of the house, exuded an aura completely out of place in the Stark family—melancholy!
Tony thought his brother was just stupid for being so melancholy, especially since he hadn't even gotten into college at fourteen.
As the most normal person in the family, he harbored a huge secret: he was actually a transmigrator from the real universe, but he hadn't gained anything in sixteen years because he needed to meet a real superhero to unlock the system, and it was now 2007.
In an era where superpowered individuals have completely disappeared, but once his older brother announces he's become Iron Man, superpowered individuals will spring up like mushrooms from the ground, and he can still make a comeback then. However, he doesn't really know which universe this is. He's heard there are many universes in Marvel, but he's only seen a few movies, and he's basically never read any comics, at most watching one-minute clips on TikTok.
But right now, no heroes have appeared.
"Midtown High School, a public high school in Queens, New York. Today's registration day. Remember not to bring too many younger siblings back," Tony said, raising an eyebrow at Dean Stark, who was leaning against the wall.
"Dear brother, can I have my motorcycle keys?" Dean Stark reached out for the keys.
Tony slapped him. "No way. Happy will take you to school in Queens later. I just had Jarvis buy you a property there; you can stay there as long as you're not on vacation."
"How boring," Dean Stark turned and got into the Audi R8 that was waiting for him.
Happy grinned. "Let's go, young master!"
Tony watched his silly little brother finally go to school, which meant he could throw a big party today!
...
The car drove through bustling Manhattan and arrived in Queens. The R8 stopped in front of Midtown High School. Watching the students come and go, Dean Stark finally felt like an ordinary kid. Before, Tony had kept him at home all day, hiring beautiful female tutors to teach him, and he hadn't understood any of the college-level material. But at night, these tutors became Tony's teachers.
"Midtown High School!" Dean still didn't remember where he was.
However, just as he walked through the corridor, preparing to head to the administration building, a very classic scene from a movie came into view: a tall, muscular boy in a school uniform jacket was pinning a skinny, brown-haired boy against a locker, with several followers beside him.
"American bullying, huh? Interesting."
De'An Stark delivered a flying kick, sending the man flying. After all, he'd undergone nearly five years of scientific training, coupled with some beneficial drugs from the Stark Industries, making him physically extraordinary. In the future world, any increase in attack power was better than none.
After stepping on the man, he said,
"De'An Stark, remember my name. My brother is Tony Stark. If you need anything, go to him." He then checked on the bullied man to see if he was alright.
However, the classmates nearby, seeing this series of actions and his slightly arrogant words, along with his surname which they always saw in magazines and the first name he uttered, immediately became his fans.
"Is that Tony Stark's brother?!"
"Ahhhhh, so handsome!"
"I'm going to faint! Help me up!"
"I've been your fangirl for ten years, I love you!"
"He actually kicked Lightning Thompson away with one kick?!"
Dean Stark remained silent, only showing a melancholy look to everyone. However, if Tony were here, he would definitely say:
"What's this silly kid doing now?"
But a beautiful red-haired girl was faster than Dean Stark to check on the thin boy's body.
"How are you, Peter? Are you alright?" The girl's identity was obviously Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker's childhood friend.
"Hmm... I'm used to it, MJ. And thank you, Mr. Stark. I'm Peter Parker. It's nice to meet you." Although he had been hit by Thompson, Peter had been bullied since childhood and was already used to it, although he was still called "insignificant Parker."
"I'm Mary Jane Watson. Thank you for saving Peter." MJ saw that Peter was alright and helped him up.
"Dean Stark, just call me Dean from now on. We might even be classmates." Dean checked Peter and saw that he was alright, then headed towards the principal's office.
Not wanting to be too arrogant, he didn't have the principal send anyone to greet him; he planned to go to the principal's office himself to find Principal Andrew Davis.
Principal Assistant Carey Cox saw Dean Stark approaching from afar and immediately went to personally attend to him.
"Mr. Stark, it's an honor to have you in our small town of Midtown High School. Principal Davis wanted to greet you personally, but you said you wanted to keep a low profile, so I've been waiting for you here." Assistant Cox approached Dean and said obsequiously.
"Then please hurry up and process my enrollment."
"Yes, please come in." Assistant Cox knocked and entered Principal Davis's office.
Principal Davis was already waiting for Dean Stark's arrival. After all, Tony had sponsored three million dollars this time; even Mr. Osborne hadn't sponsored that much, only two million dollars.
"Mr. Stark, I've completed your enrollment notice. Which class would you like to join?" Principal Davis always treated wealthy people this way; after all, money allows for better education and resources for children. Therefore, he treated Dean Stark with his best attitude.
"Help me see which class Peter Parker is in." Dean currently only had this one goal: to witness Peter being bitten by the spider and become friends with them.
Hearing the name, the assistant immediately pulled out the roster and began checking alphabetically.
"Found him, Class 10-A, Peter Parker!" The assistant exclaimed after finally finding him.
"Is Mary Jane Watson in Class 10-A?" Dean asked, worried about the awkwardness of having someone with the same name.
The assistant looked at Class 10-A and nodded.
"Then thank you, Principal. I'll go to Class 10-A."
The principal wasn't surprised to hear Dean mention those two names. He wasn't surprised what the other knew; after all, his brother was Tony Stark. Even if the school was blown up, his brother would compensate. Let him have his fun.
The assistant then personally escorted Dean to the teachers' office of Class 10-A, where he spoke briefly with the homeroom teacher and most of the subject teachers. Many of the teachers looked vaguely familiar to Dean, but he couldn't quite place them.
As Dean followed the teachers into the classroom, a suppressed gasp erupted. The events that had transpired in the hallway had spread like wildfire throughout the entire grade. Tony Stark's younger brother, the handsome Stark who could kick Thomson with a single kick, had become the hottest topic at Midtown High School that day.
Dean's gaze swept across the classroom, quickly locating Peter and MJ. Peter waved shyly at him, while MJ returned a bright smile. Behind them sat a blonde girl with black-rimmed glasses, exuding a quiet and intellectual air. Even in simple clothes, her striking beauty and figure were undeniable. When she noticed Dean's gaze, she nodded in a friendly manner.
"This is... Gwen Stacy?!" Dean Stark was surprised. He hadn't expected to find such an unexpected person, and she was so beautiful.
