April's chest felt tight, her breath becoming shallow and painful while tears continued rolling down her cheeks. 

The staff in the house weren't watching but they could hear the conversation loud and clear since Judith intentionally did that so April would feel humiliated. The staff could only feel bad for their boss's wife for enduring every word Judith said. Even though they wished to help, they didn't dare to interfere. 

"My apologies the other day were all fake as well, or did you really think I'd apologize for trying to make things right for my son? You're not the right person for my son, so have it at the back of your mind that Lucas is not yours and will never be" 

She brought the glass of juice to her mouth again, sipping it slowly. Next, she stood up from the chair, leaving April seated on the chair while she struggled to settle her feelings in tears.
