"Really? In this serious situation, you still think I'm funny?" Ruby snapped
"Ok, I'm sorry," he paused and smiled. "Well, if you're done being angry, can I invite you to a dinner party?"
"What dinner?"
"It's a private power dinner conference, hosted by a business partner of the company. And since I deal with the tech sector, I was invited" Evan proudly explained with a bright smile and he got a cold shoulder.
"So, what has that got to do with me? I don't work in the tech industry and I know nothing about it either. So why are you involving me?" Ruby turned to face him, giving the energy of a boss lady.
Evan chuckled once more while staring at her face and replied "I know you don't deal with such type of stuff, but it's strictly an invitation to come with your lover" he smiled
