"Clark, are you alright?" Batman asked. His voice was serious and worried.
"I am fine, Bruce," Superman replied. Superman clenched his fists tightly. His muscles were tense, and he could feel his power building up inside him. "This guy is way more dangerous than we thought. I am not going to hold back against him anymore. I am ready to test my full strength." Superman's eyes narrowed as he looked at Goku, who was standing there calmly, waiting for the next move.
Batman paused for a second. "Clark, if you do that, there is no telling the damage it will cause. Many lives could be lost. Properties would be destroyed. The Earth might even be destroyed," Batman warned. He was thinking about all the people in nearby cities, the buildings, the roads, everything that could break if the fight got too big.
"We will keep our fighting here in this desert," he said with a small smile. The desert was empty, no people around for miles. Just sand and rocks. "And you and the others must make sure that no lives are lost."
"Does he intend to fight this monster alone?" Flash asked, sounding surprised.
"Seems so, Barry," Cyborg answered.
Flash sighed and shook his head. "Seriously... Must you use my real name?"
"I am not letting you fight him alone, Superman," Wonder Woman joined the conversation. She held her sword in one hand and her shield in the other. "We fight as a team. That is why we are the Justice League."
"Speaking of the league, where is Aquaman?" lantern asked. Aquaman the king of the oceans, but he wasn't there right now. Maybe he was busy underwater or something.
"Now they are just chatting amongst themselves," Goku thought in his mind. He was patient, but getting a bit bored.
"Yeah, seems they may have forgotten about you," Zeno answered.
"I am tired of waiting," Goku said to himself. In an instant, he dashed forward at Green Lantern with lightning speed. It was so fast, like a blur. No one saw it coming right away.
"Watch out, Green Lantern!" Superman yelled out loud.
Green Lantern's eyes went wide. "Fuck..." he thought in his head, just before Goku's right fist slammed into his face. The punch was heavy and strong. It sent Green Lantern flying back through the air, crashing into the ground many meters away from the rest of the team. Sand flew up everywhere from the impact. Green Lantern lay there, hurt and not moving much.
"Now you have done it," Cyborg said angrily. He aimed his arm, which turned into a cannon. He shot multiple blasts from it. These blasts were powerful enough to destroy a small town. Bright energy beams flew towards Goku.
Goku smiled and dodged them all easily. He moved like the wind, left and right, up and down. Then he vanished in a flash and reappeared right above Cyborg. Goku stretched his left hand forward. A white light started to gather around his palm. It grew brighter and brighter. Then, boom! He blasted a heavy ki energy right at Cyborg before Cyborg could even react.
Cyborg's robotic system kicked in fast. "Emergency defense system activated. Maximum energy shield," it said in a mechanical voice. A blue shield appeared around Cyborg just as Goku's blast hit it.
Boom! The explosion was huge. It sent dust flying everywhere, and the Justice League members were thrown far apart by the force. The ground shook like an earthquake.
When the dust started to clear, Cyborg was breathing hard. "Ha, ha, ha, ha," he gasped, trying to catch his breath. His right arm was gone, torn off by the blast. Blood was dripping from his face, his nose, and his mouth. "Damn, just one blast, and I am badly damaged," he thought. "Warning, warning, systems critical. Retreat."Come on, system, I can still fight. Don't fail me now," he said in a low voice.
"Cyborg!" everyone screamed out. They were worried and angry. Right away, they all rushed at Goku to attack.
Flash's eyes turned white as he charged up his speed. He ran towards Goku super fast, building up a powerful lightning charge in his hands. It crackled with electricity.
Superman flew at Goku with both hands clenched into fists. He released a massive amount of heat vision from his eyes. Red beams shot out, aimed right at Goku. They were hot enough to melt almost anything.
Green Arrow, pulled out his bow and unleashed a bunch of arrows. These arrows were special, powerful enough to level a small village. They flew through the air like missiles.
Wonder Woman jumped high into the air. Her sword was raised above her head, ready to strike down at Goku's head. She was graceful but fierce, like a lioness.
Batman, from his jet, shot multiple cannon blasts. They were high-tech weapons, exploding on impact.
Goku saw all these attacks coming at him. He didn't panic. He took a strong stance in mid-air. Yellow energy started to radiate from his body. His eyes turned yellow, and his hair began to glow bright gold. "Haaaaaaaaaa! Haaaaa!" Goku yelled as he transformed into Super Saiyan. His power level went way up. The energy he released was like a storm. It collided with all the Justice League's attacks.
The clash caused a massive explosion. It shook half the planet. Buildings far away rattled, and people wondered what was happening. The sky lit up with light, and the ground cracked open in places.
Finally, the dust cleared out slowly. The desert looked like a battlefield now, with craters everywhere. Cyborg was lying on the ground, unconscious. He wasn't moving, his lights flickering weakly.
Green Arrow was in bad shape. Both of his legs were gone, blown off in the explosion. Blood was splashing out from where his legs used to be. He was screaming in pain, trying to stop the bleeding with his hands.
Flash was nowhere to be seen. Maybe he got thrown far away by the blast, or maybe he was hiding to recover.
Batman's vehicle, his high-tech jet, was crushed and destroyed. Pieces of metal were scattered all over the sand.
Wonder Woman was down on both knees. Her sword was stuck in the ground next to her. Her shield was cracked in many places. Blood was dripping from her mouth, and she was breathing hard, but her eyes were still full of fight.
Superman's cape was burnt away, just ashes now. He had some wounds on his body, but they were slowly healing because of his super powers. His eyes were red with anger as he stared at Goku intensely.
Goku looked around at all the damage. He didn't look hurt at all. His Super Saiyan form made him glow with power. He turned to Superman and raised one finger, pointing at him like a challenge.
Superman didn't wait. He charged at Goku full speed. They both started fighting in the sky. Their fists collided again and again, each punch sending out shockwaves. The air boomed like thunder with every hit. Clouds moved away from the force. The fight was fast and furious, like two gods battling.
Down on the ground, Batman was in trouble. "Ahhh," he grunted in pain. He pushed open the emergency door of his destroyed jet. He gasped for air as he fell to the ground. His vision was blurry, flashing white and red from the pain. He had cuts and bruises all over.
Batman touched his ear device. "Can anyone hear me? Superman is fighting Goku. Those still at the Watchtower watching, immediate rescue is needed. Green Lantern is out cold, same thing for Cyborg. Arrow lost both his legs. Wonder Woman, it is a bit difficult to explain, and I can barely stay conscious." His voice was weak, but he was trying to stay awake.
"We hear you, Batman. This is Aquaman. Activating teleportation device now. Prepare to be retrieved..." Aquaman was at the Watchtower. He was turning on a machine that could beam them back safely.
