Chapter 22 - Chapter 22: Shinobi Versus Saiyan Part 4

"Let's go!" Naruto bellowed, his voice echoing across the battlefield like a war cry. His orange jacket fluttered in the wind as he surged forward, chakra cloak enveloping him in a golden aura. His eyes, serious and focused, locked onto Goku. The ground trembled under his feet with each powerful stride, leaves and debris kicking up in his wake.

"Naruto! Wait!" Kakashi's voice cut through the air like a kunai. The Copy Ninja leaped forward, his Sharingan spinning wildly in his exposed eye, trying to analyze the opponent. Blood trickled from a gash on his forehead, a remnant of an earlier skirmish, but he ignored the pain. "We need a plan! Rushing in blindly won't—"

But Naruto was already committed. "You're mine now! Giant Rasengan!" He channeled his chakra with ferocious intensity, drawing on the Nine-Tails' power within him. The air hummed as energy coalesced in his palm, swelling into a massive orb of swirling white light. It grew enormous, rivaling the size of a two-story building, casting an ethereal glow over the landscape. The team watched in awe as Naruto hurled it forward with a mighty roar. The Rasengan hurtled toward Goku like a comet, distorting the air around it and leaving a trail of crackling energy.

Goku didn't flinch. His smile widened slightly as the attack made contact. A deafening boom erupted, the explosion ripping through the earth. The ground split open in jagged fissures, cracks spiderwebbing outward for hundreds of meters. Trees uprooted and shattered, boulders pulverized into dust. The blast wave knocked several shinobi left watching off their feet, and a mushroom cloud of smoke and debris billowed into the sky. For a moment, it seemed like the attack had succeeded—the force was cataclysmic, shaking the very foundations of the nearby mountains.

But as the dust began to settle, Goku emerged unscathed. With a casual wave of his hand, he dispersed the remaining smoke, the air clearing instantly as if commanded by his will. "Whoa, that was pretty strong! But you're a bit impatient, aren't ya?" His voice was light, almost playful. In a blur of motion too fast for most eyes to track, Goku closed the distance and delivered a single slap to Naruto's chest. It wasn't a punch, just an open-handed strike, but the raw power behind it was immense. Naruto was hurled backward like a ragdoll, soaring through the air toward his comrades.

Just before he slammed into the ground, Sasuke and Kakashi leaped in, catching him mid-flight. Naruto coughed, clutching his chest where a massive bruise was already forming. "What... the hell? That barely felt like he tried..."

Kakashi helped him to his feet, his expression grave. He wiped the blood from his forehead, his breathing ragged from exertion. "Listen, everyone. I hate to say this, but... peace might be our only path to survival. We can't defeat him. Not like this." His words hung heavy in the air, a stark admission from the usually unflappable leader. The shinobi exchanged uneasy glances—Kakashi wasn't one to back down lightly.

Guy, ever the optimist, struck his famous "nice guy" pose, his teeth gleaming in a determined grin despite the sweat beading on his brow. "He doesn't look like the type to listen to reason, Kakashi-sensei." He dropped into his battle stance, gates of chakra ready to open if needed. "But if it's a fight he wants, I'll give him one he'll never forget!"

Inside Goku's mind, —Zeno spoke. "Goku, hold back on them. They're not that strong. Your full power could crush them like ants." Zeno's tone was casual, almost bored, as if observing a game.

"Alright, Zeno. I got it," Goku replied aloud, though to the shinobi it seemed like he was talking to himself. He crossed his arms again, surveying the group with that same easy smile. The wind picked up, rustling his gi, but there was an underlying pressure in the air now, like the calm before a hurricane.

"Before I crush you all, I figured I should at least introduce myself. Remember it well—my name is Son Goku. And in your terms... yeah, you could call me a god." With that, he unleashed a fraction of his ki. The ground beneath him fractured into spiderweb patterns, the earth trembling violently. Stones and boulders lifted slowly into the air, defying gravity, hovering like ominous sentinels. The sky darkened slightly, clouds swirling overhead. Yet, Goku hadn't even transformed—his base form was enough to instill terror.

"A god? What a joke," Sasuke muttered, his voice dripping with sarcasm. He drew his Kusanagi blade from its sheath at his waist, the metal singing as it caught the light. His Rinnegan activated in one eye, swirling with power. "I'm going to crush you with everything I've got."

Minato, rising to his feet with kunai in hand, issued a stern warning. "Everyone, be extremely careful. He's faster than me—and you, Raikage." His yellow hair was disheveled, but his blue eyes were sharp, analyzing every movement.

"Impossible," Gaara replied, his voice calm but his sand defenses rising higher. The Kazekage's gourd cracked open, grains swirling protectively.

"Believe it or not, he sees our attacks before we even launch them," Minato continued. "It's like he's moving at speeds that make us look like we're in slow motion. We need coordination—hit him from all angles."

Goku spread his arms wide, blue lightning crackling around his body like a halo of energy. "Come on, all of you! Show me what you've got!" His invitation was genuine; to him, this was a spar, not a war.

Sasuke and Minato moved first, vanishing in bursts of speed. Minato appeared before Goku, his fist rocketing toward the Saiyan's face with Hiraishin precision. Goku met it head-on with his own punch, the collision sending shockwaves that cracked the ground further. The force reverberated through Minato's arm, nearly shattering bone.

From behind, Sasuke materialized, Chidori screaming in his hand—a lance of lightning chakra aimed at Goku's back. But Goku vanished in an instant, reappearing above them. With a flick of his wrist, he fired small ki blasts, sending both shinobi tumbling across the landscape. They crashed into distant rocks, kicking up dust clouds, but quickly recovered, bruised but unbroken.

Naruto, undeterred, summoned his full Kurama avatar. The massive Nine-Tails fox materialized, roaring to the heavens, its nine tails lashing wildly. "Kurama, let's do this! Bijuu Bomb!" Chakra gathered in the beast's maw, forming a dense, pulsating sphere of destruction.

Meanwhile, Tsunade and the Raikage charged in tandem. The Raikage, A, cloaked in lightning armor, barreled forward like a thunderbolt, his fist aimed at Goku's midsection. Goku sidestepped effortlessly and countered with a single punch to the Raikage's ribs. A sickening crack echoed as bones fractured; Goku then grabbed the Kage's leg and hurled him toward Gaara. The Kazekage raised a sand wall, but the impact still jarred him, reopening old wounds.

Tsunade leaped from behind, her superhuman strength channeling into a devastating punch. The ground tore open beneath them, a massive crater forming as her fist connected—or so it seemed. Dust billowed high, obscuring vision. When it cleared, Goku held her by the throat, his grip firm but not crushing. He rocketed upward, carrying her into the sky.

"You look really beautiful, I keep you for later," Goku said conversationally. "Zeno, you know what to do." Dark energy, infused with Zeno's omnipotent essence, enveloped Tsunade. She struggled, her eyes wide with shock, but the power was overwhelming. In a flash, she vanished without a trace, teleported to some unknown realm.

"Grandma Tsunade!" Naruto's scream pierced the air, raw with anguish. The other shinobi echoed his horror—"Hokage!" "Lady Tsunade!" Kakashi gasped, his mask hiding a grimace of despair.

Naruto's rage boiled over. "Triple Bijuu Bomb! God Style Rasenshuriken!" He unleashed a barrage: three massive Tailed Beast Balls from Kurama, fused with wind chakra into spiraling shuriken of godly power. The attacks streaked toward Goku, warping space with their intensity.

Goku extended his right hand, ki surging. A colossal blast erupted from his palm, dwarfing two mountains in size. Blue energy roared forth, swallowing Naruto's assaults whole. The collision was apocalyptic—the explosion illuminated the entire world, visible from distant villages. Shockwaves flattened forests, tsunamis stirred in nearby seas, and the Shinobi's were engulfed in the explosion, their fates hanging in the balance as the dust settled on a changed battlefield.
