Chapter 75 - Meteor from Beyond the Space

"Hah! Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique!"

Without wasting words, Tenten raised her hand, hurled a handful of shuriken, and formed a hand seal.

Instantly, a dense swarm of shuriken shot toward Naruto.

*Whoosh!*

Naruto countered by throwing several shuriken of his own, rapidly forming a series of hand seals. "Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique!"

*Clang, clang, clang...*

Amidst a flurry of metallic clashes, a thick pile of cold, gleaming weapons rapidly accumulated on the ground between Naruto and Tenten.

*Squeak...*

Using nearly invisible threads to manipulate the weapons, Tenten swiftly hurled the sharp projectiles at Naruto.

"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"

*Whoosh...*

Naruto unleashed a powerful gust of wind, maintaining his hand seal as he watched the weapons be swept away by the gale.

"Double Rising Dragons!"

*Swish, swish, swish!*

As Naruto's ninjutsu exhausted itself, Tenten's next wave of attacks arrived, filling the sky with a dense barrage of weapon shadows.

"Super Giant Rasengan!"

Raising his palm to the heavens, Naruto summoned a massive Rasengan in his hand, using it to block the descending weapons.

In the next instant, with a clanging of metal, all the weapons were sent flying.

"Naruto, you're pretty impressive! My next move is my ultimate technique: a massive iron ball falling from the sky. Can you handle it?" Tenten asked, her voice tinged with concern.

"Don't worry, Sister Tenten! I can take it!" Naruto nodded confidently.

"Natural Mode!"

In an instant, Naruto transformed into Natural Mode.

"Bring it on!" Naruto called out.

"Alright, Naruto! Be careful!"

Watching Naruto below, enveloped in emerald-green light, Tenten nodded and pulled out a radiant golden scroll from her ninja pouch.

"Ninjutsu: Heavenly Meteorite!"

With Tenten's sharp cry, a massive iron ball, ten meters in diameter, suddenly materialized in the sky.

*Boom!*

The iron ball plummeted downward at breakneck speed, its lower surface glowing faintly red from the friction—a testament to its immense velocity and destructive power.

"Sage Art: Natural Shield!"

With a soft shout, Naruto summoned a rectangular shield above his head. The shield, woven from emerald-green vines, was a meter thick and covered over two hundred square meters, radiating a faint, ethereal glow.

*Bang!*

The iron ball slammed into the plant shield. The seemingly soft vegetation erupted with astonishing defensive power, halting the scorching projectile with a deafening roar. The shield remained unscathed, while the iron ball's underside buckled inward by several inches.

"Naruto, what's the name of this technique? The shield's defensive power is incredible!" Tenten exclaimed, panting heavily as she landed on the ground. She braced herself with her hands on her knees, struggling to stay upright.

"Sister Tenten, don't push yourself too hard," Naruto said, darting to her side and supporting her delicate frame. "This is a special defensive ninjutsu I developed in Natural Mode. You've seen its defensive capabilities, right?"

"Mm... it's incredibly strong," Tenten gasped, her body gradually losing all strength.

"Huff... I didn't expect using this technique to be so exhausting after all that training," she finally murmured, collapsing limply into Naruto's arms, completely drained.

"Sister Tenten, let me help you to the bench outside the training grounds," Naruto suggested, cradling her limp form.

"Mm, thank you," Tenten replied with an apologetic smile, gently closing her beautiful eyes to recover her strength.

"Sister Tenten, you don't mind if I hold you a little tighter, do you?"

Naruto pulled Tenten's delicate body closer, practically carrying her in his arms.

"Heh, what does it matter at this point?" Tenten chuckled weakly, shaking her head slightly.

"Sister Tenten, you really are reckless."

Naruto helped Tenten sit down on a long bench, then looked at her pale face with a wry smile as he slowly channeled streams of life energy into her body.

"Mmm..."

As Naruto's life energy flowed through her, Tenten felt a warm, soothing sensation spreading through her body, and she couldn't help but let out a soft moan.

"Feeling better?" Naruto adjusted the life energy to a comfortable temperature as he continued to channel it into her.

"Mmm... Naruto... Naruto..."

Tenten's body suddenly trembled violently. Though she had regained a sliver of strength, she felt as if it had been drained away, and she collapsed limply into Naruto's arms.

"What's wrong?" Naruto asked, puzzled, as he continued to channel life energy into her.

"Naruto, could you... mmm... not spread this warm energy all over my body?"

Tenten's eyes gradually became watery, and she involuntarily tightened her legs together.

"Is it uncomfortable?" Naruto wondered inwardly. *It should feel really good, right?*

"It feels good, but..."

A delicate tremor, like an electric shock, ran through Tenten's body. She couldn't bring herself to speak, collapsing weakly into Naruto's arms, panting softly.

"Hmm? Sister Tenten's expression is strange," Naruto mused, staring at her face, which was so flushed it seemed to drip with redness. He couldn't understand it at all.

One had to admire Naruto's obliviousness. It was truly remarkable—how could he miss such obvious signs?

"Um... Naruto, it's getting late... I should head home now. Goodbye!" Tenten called out, scrambling to her feet and hurrying away.

"Huh? Her running posture looks weird... Does Sister Tenten need to pee?" Naruto muttered to himself, puzzled. Then he slapped his forehead in sudden "realization." "Haha! That must be it! No wonder her face was so red earlier, no wonder her body was squirming restlessly, no wonder she kept her legs pressed together, no wonder she suddenly became so shy..."

A string of "no wonder"s convinced Naruto that he had finally figured it out.

In truth, the poor boy understood nothing at all.

He might have eventually figured it out on his own, but his current assumptions had sealed his fate of eternal cluelessness.

Unless Tenten herself told him the truth.

But the chances of that happening were—zero.

"Ugh, it's freezing! Time for bed."

Back in the bedroom, Naruto gazed at the neatly tucked-in blanket. He carefully removed his ink bamboo robes, gently lifted a corner of the blanket, and slipped inside, careful not to disturb Haku and Ziyu Die.

*Beep... beep... beep...*

No sooner had he settled into bed than an annoying alarm began to ring.

"What's that?" Naruto frowned, glancing around. There was no alarm clock in sight.

*Beep... beep... beep...*

Another soft alarm sounded. Naruto ducked his head under the blanket and finally located the source.

"So the alarm clock is in Ziyu Die's arms..."

Naruto glanced at the butterfly-shaped alarm clock nestled in Ziyu Die's arms beside Haku. The adorable little clock, still gently ringing, was the culprit.

Leaning up on his left arm, Naruto reached his right arm across Haku to retrieve the clock from Ziyu Die's embrace.

"Mmm..." Ziyu Die murmured, smacking her lips and clutching the alarm clock tightly to her chest.

Naturally, she also ended up clutching Naruto's right hand.

"Oh no... I'm not some creepy uncle!"

Realizing his awkward position, Naruto felt like crying but couldn't shed a tear.
