Kaito's first glance noticed the Secret Treasure: Fairy Feather. This was a Fairy-type Secret Treasure.
Kaito turned to look at Volcarona. It was burning in mid-air, casting a unique light upon the earth. Volcarona would also become his strongest Pokémon in plain sight!
Latias's Affection
Night fell. Kaito remained in the courtyard, preparing to try something new with his Berry Blender.
Creak, creak— A sound broke the tranquility. Latias walked out of the villa and asked curiously: "Kaito, what is this?"
Kaito explained: "This machine is called a Berry Blender. You can put Berries in it and then make them into a delicacy similar to Candy. I call them Pokéblocks."
Latias was concerned: "Is it tasty?"
Kaito successfully made the first batch of Pokéblocks. There were five pieces: White, cube-shaped, with a rich aroma of Berries.
Latias approached. Stepping out from under the eaves, the bright moonlight made her appear like white jade. "It smells so good, it really is like Candy."
Kaito first took out one for Latias. Latias didn't think much and swallowed it directly. Kaito's fingertips were faintly damp.
Latias's beautiful eyes sparkled. "Kaito, this tastes really good. It's even tastier than those Exp. Candies."
Kaito also tasted it. The Pokéblock smelled fragrant, and upon tasting it, a sweet flavor bloomed. A warm current surged through his body. He felt a strong energy fill him.
The Pokéblock was categorized: Name: White Pokéblock, Grade: Wobbuffet Class. Effect: Provides some experience after consumption, accelerates HP and stamina recovery. Mutated Effect: Provides more energy (greatly increases satiety).
Bunnelby hopped and jumped. Kaito's reminder that it was filling was useful; Bunnelby ate only half. Bunnelby generously gave the remaining half of the Pokéblock to its good partner, Psyduck.
Torterra and Ampharos Evolve
Kaito continued making Pokéblocks. Gardevoir, Machamp, and Latias came to help.
Kaito fed a whole Pokéblock to Grotle. A few breaths later, Grotle glowed with a gentle white light—the light of evolution.
Grotle evolved into Torterra. Name: Torterra, Name: None, Ability: Overgrow, Type: Grass-type, Level: Lv. 32 (Excellent-tier), Potential: Gym Leader-tier.
Torterra was among the largest Pokémon he had. Bunnelby's eyes were burning. Now they could play on its back even better!
Kaito also gave Torterra the Grass Gem he had drawn today.
During the busy night, a Flaaffy evolved into Ampharos. Name: Ampharos, Name: None, Ability: Static, Type: Electric-type, Level: Lv. 30 (Excellent-tier), Potential: Excellent-tier.
"Very good, from now on, you will lead the other Mareep. You are the Mareep Captain." Kaito stroked Ampharos's head.
A Wish Made
Later, Kaito lay on a bamboo chair, enjoying the cool breeze and looking up at the starry sky. Lapras exhaled a breath of cold air, creating a cool atmosphere.
Suddenly, tiny shooting stars streaked across the sky—a meteor shower. The Cleffa were the first to notice. On nights with many meteors, one could see the Cleffa dancing in a circle.
The system notified: Lucky effect triggered: The probability of encountering good things in a short period has slightly increased.
The system continued: Cinccino found a Razor Claw while cleaning.
Kaito turned his head to look at Latias. "Latias, that's a meteor shower. They say if you make a wish during a meteor shower, it might come true."
"Okay." Latias closed her eyes.
Kaito took this opportunity to present a gift. When Latias opened her eyes, an exquisite bell came into view: a Soothe Bell.
"This is a gift for you. My welcome gift." Kaito smiled.
Latias took the Soothe Bell, tying it around her wrist. Her heart pounded.
Kaito casually fed an Exp. Candy to Arcanine and asked: "Oh, right. What wish did you just make?"
Latias looked at Kaito, revealing a sweet smile. She used telepathy: "I want to be with you. Forever."
Kaito is now an International Gym Leader! What will the reaction be when he gives his lecture and reveals his intentions for a Fairy-type Gym?
