Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Wave of Memories – Birth of Dual Consciousness

Eastern Sky Territory, Misty Jade City, the Ryn family residence.

Soft light filtered through the large windows, reflecting on the wooden walls and tables, casting a warm touch amid the quiet of the room. The wooden table, adorned with traditional dishes and fresh ingredients, exuded the aroma of herbs and warm bread, surrounded by faint spiritual energy resembling an aura—a sign of the family's authenticity in cultivation and their deep connection to the spiritual and natural world. The air carried the scent of rain-soaked earth, mingled with hints of fresh thyme, as if everything in the house reminded its inhabitants of a life balanced between the material and spiritual realms.

Eil Ryn sat quietly at the table, holding the spoon lightly, lifting it to his mouth, savoring each bite as if every detail of the world around him deserved appreciation. The small sounds—the clatter of dishes, the trickle of tea, and the soft rustle of wind through the windows—merged into a quiet symphony, filling him with comfort and a sense of belonging, as if time itself had paused. Every movement was deliberate, every breath aligned with the serene stillness of the house, making him feel as if he were part of everything around him.

Suddenly… the spoon fell from his hand.

Eil grasped his head with both hands, leaning slightly forward, his eyes widening in a terrifying silence. He clenched his teeth until a sharp creak escaped, his body trembling violently, sweat pouring down his forehead, his breathing uneven, each gasp filled with inner confusion.

Slowly, fragmented and unclear scenes appeared before him, intersecting and entangling in his vision: vibrant colors he had never seen before, strange sounds overlapping with echoes of his own voice, familiar places from his past life on Earth, and others completely alien, people he knew without knowing them, and events flashing past like fleeting sparks. A sense of alienation and disorientation wrapped around his mind; everything was both familiar and unfamiliar, and every detail of his new body quivered with each passing vision.

A faint internal voice, quiet yet clear, like a crack inside his head, made his body tremble even more. The table and dishes shook slightly with each wave of shivering. His parents, stunned, tried to lift him and calm him, but his body was no longer his own; it moved according to an inexplicable wave, mere tremors and physical impulses beyond their control.

Suddenly, all memories poured into his consciousness at once. Images from the world of Earth, scenes of people he knew and didn't know, feelings of alienation and loneliness, pain, loss, joy, fear, and all the fragmented moments of his past life surged into his new body. The psychological pain and mental confusion merged; his head ached, his body trembled incessantly, yet no strength emerged—only internal events accompanied the mental explosion, as if his old world had decided to knock on the doors of his new consciousness suddenly and forcefully.

Finally, after moments that felt like an eternity, Eil collapsed unconscious on the table, his head resting on the cold wood, hands intertwined, his trembling gradually fading. A strange silence filled the room, a heavy stillness that left his parents stunned, realizing that something within him had changed forever.

Three days later…

In the dark expanse of Eil's consciousness, Asher Ryn sat meditating, as if inspecting his body through a hidden window.

"Even after three days… I still can't believe I've reincarnated into a cultivation world."

He smiled faintly, then turned his gaze to Eil from the inner chamber of consciousness he had named for himself—a dark room filled with warm inner light, a place where he could think, observe, and make plans.

Eil was a 14-year-old boy with purple hair and eyes, a hue inherited from his mother, reflecting the nature of this new world and the family's spirit. His body was slender, yet there was a mysterious sense of latent strength, something yet undiscovered, a force waiting to be unleashed through training and patience.

"But it doesn't matter. Finally, I can achieve my dream. First… I need to deal with this problem. I've kept him from seeing my memories… or rather, our memories, since he is me in a different form."

During these three days, Asher remained in the corners of the mind, observing Eil closely. Every movement, every training session, every moment of silence… he watched meticulously, noting every small detail. He did not intervene, yet he absorbed the new body, its physical abilities, habits, and simple thought patterns—everything was part of a careful study to prepare for what was to come.

Eil, unaware, performed his daily exercises: simple movements, lifting light objects, practicing balance, focusing on breathing and mental awareness. All under Asher's hidden supervision. Asher noted every physical movement, every gesture, every part of his internal energy. The feeling of strange separation between self and body was intense, yet he began planning in silence, studying, reviewing his memories, and preparing himself for the journey ahead.

At night, while Eil slept, Asher remained awake within his inner consciousness, inspecting every thread of energy flowing through the body. He observed how the body reacted to sleep, to food, to the movement of hands and feet, and how this energy could be directed to cultivate spiritual power. He began imagining training methods, continuous practice, and ways to control dual consciousness, all meticulously planned, as if two minds were living in one body.

By the end of the third day, Asher felt a partial sense of ease for the first time. His consciousness seemed to begin adapting to Eil's body, recognizing the limits of its capabilities and the need for continuous training. This was the true starting point of his path toward transcendence—a journey of dual consciousness, inner struggle, and the pursuit of surpassing all limits and worlds.
