Prince Philip watched the confrontation with shock. He had never imagined that the first meeting between the two would end in a Life-and-Death challenge. Zora was no longer the person she once was.
Rose stood frozen, eyes wide, her mouth hanging open. She had only been angry at Serestia's behavior. She never imagined things would spiral to this extent.
"Zora, I was just angry!" Rose blurted out anxiously. "How could it turn into a life-and-death duel? This is too dangerous, really… really…"
Seeing Rose's panic, Zora's lips curved into a gentle smile.
As Nigel had once said, Rose might be impulsive, but her heart was sincere.
