Prince Philip had not sought her out today, but Scarlet had chosen to keep provoking her. And Zora was not someone who let stones be thrown without throwing one back.
Scarlet's heart dropped the instant she felt that gaze.
If she had known things would come to this, she would never have opened her mouth tonight. But regret was a luxury she no longer had.
Zora then lifted her chin slightly, a teasing smile curling at her lips as she looked at Prince Philip.
"Since the Crown Prince seems to have such poor taste, don't you think Miss Scarlet is rather… unsuitable? Perhaps it would be better to cancel the engagement. What do you think?"
