Chapter 92 - Chapter 92 Cleaning the Service Department

Masao Tanaka and Yukinoshita Yukino walked side-by-side on their way home.

As they approached the intersection where their paths diverged, Yukinoshita Yukino spoke.

"I won't be going to your house today."

Masao Tanaka was a little puzzled.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?"

"No."

Yukinoshita Yukino shook her head.

"It's just that the tutoring is over. Today, you should go home, rest well, and prepare for tomorrow's exam."

Masao Tanaka breathed a sigh of relief. He had thought something major had happened, which was why she wasn't coming, but it turned out to be for this reason.

"Even so, my mom knows we have an exam today and has specially prepared a big meal to reward us. How about we talk about it tomorrow?

If I don't bring you back today, Mom will definitely scold me."

"This..."

Yukinoshita Yukino hesitated. She had made this decision with considerable resolve.

Because a week's time had made her somewhat addicted to enjoying this warm and comfortable life.

But rationality told her that it wasn't her home, that such a life didn't belong to her, and that one day she would have to leave.

So Yukinoshita Yukino wanted to seize the moment while she could still make up her mind to break away and withdraw proactively.

Otherwise, she couldn't be sure when she might become deeply entangled and unable to extricate herself.

However, Masao Tanaka's words made her very conflicted.

"How about just one last time? It would be a proper conclusion, and it wouldn't be good to let Auntie's kind intentions go to waste. It's also a form of politeness.

And it's just one time; the impact shouldn't be too great."

After some thought, Yukinoshita Yukino nodded.

"Alright."

Just then, the two arrived at the intersection where they would part ways, and Yukinoshita Yukino, half-persuaded, still followed Masao Tanaka home.

[Degeneracy + 10]

The 'soft embrace' also made Yukinoshita Yukino less resolute.

Masao Tanaka had not deceived Yukinoshita Yukino. Today, Kazumi Tanaka had indeed prepared many delicious things.

And because they had been taking exams all day, everyone was a bit tired.

So Yukinoshita Yukino didn't make Masao Tanaka study too much; she just had him look at books, notes, and past exam papers.

This made everyone more relaxed that evening, and they even spent a good amount of time chatting.

...

The next day.

After Kawasaki Saki arrived, Masao Tanaka proactively greeted her.

"Good morning, Kawasaki-kun."

"Good morning."

Kawasaki Saki nodded, returning the greeting.

[Progress is swift. They can greet each other in three weeks. I can't even imagine what level they'll reach in another ten months.]

The remaining subjects for the morning were finished today.

The afternoon was a holiday, giving teachers time to grade the papers.

Including the weekend, students had two and a half days to enjoy themselves before the results came out.

This made the students, who had been spending this period in intense and busy revision, quite excited.

Some people, as soon as the exam was over, made plans with friends to go shopping and play.

Those who wanted to participate in club activities found a place to eat and then proceeded with their club activities.

The entire campus was filled with laughter and joy.

Masao Tanaka also arrived at the Service Club, knocked on the door, and Yukinoshita Yukino's voice came from inside.

"Please come in."

Masao Tanaka pushed the door open and walked in, sighing with emotion.

"It feels like it's been a long time since I came to the Service Club."

Yukinoshita Yukino nodded.

"It has been a long time."

They hadn't been to the Service Club for about ten days. Seeing a layer of dust on the desks and floor, Yukinoshita Yukino spoke.

"The Service Club can't be used for now. I need to clean it. What about you, are you going home first, or staying to help me?"

This was clearly an easy question. How could Masao Tanaka, who had been studying for so long, not get points on an easy question? So he chose...

"I don't have anything else to do anyway, so I'll stay."

Masao Tanaka found a place to put down his bag and asked.

"Are there any cleaning tools?"

Yukinoshita Yukino nodded.

"Everything is here."

She walked to the back of the Service Club classroom, opened a cabinet, and inside were complete cleaning tools.

Masao Tanaka followed, picking up a bucket.

"I'll go get a bucket of water first."

He went to the nearby restroom and quickly returned with a bucket more than half full of clean water.

When he returned to the Service Club, Yukinoshita Yukino had already moved the tables and chairs to the side, clearing the space.

Masao Tanaka put down the bucket.

"Where shall we start?"

Yukinoshita Yukino looked around the room.

"Let's start with the windows, then clean the tables and miscellaneous items, and finally the floor."

Her cleaning order was from top to bottom. As for the ceiling and walls, there was no obvious dust, so they didn't need to be cleaned for now.

Yukinoshita Yukino took out a bottle of glass cleaner and handed it to Masao Tanaka.

"You spray this on the glass."

She herself held a squeegee specifically for cleaning glass.

Masao Tanaka sprayed in front, and Yukinoshita Yukino followed behind, cleaning and wiping.

Masao Tanaka, with his height, could spray the cleaner on all parts of the glass.

Yukinoshita Yukino could also, with her tools, wipe all areas clean.

After Masao Tanaka finished spraying the cleaner, he came back, took a tool, and joined Yukinoshita Yukino in wiping the glass.

It must be said, spraying the cleaner and then wiping the glass with a squeegee was quite enjoyable.

One stroke and it became spotless, which was simply ecstasy for those with OCD.

Of course, if one intentionally left a spot unwiped, it would drive someone with OCD crazy.

In just about ten minutes, they had wiped the classroom windows sparkling clean.

As for the outside, that would require the school to hire professionals to clean it.

The school also prohibited students from leaning out to wipe, as it was too dangerous, and such accidents had occurred before.

Looking at the spotless glass, Masao Tanaka was very proud.

"Indeed, a clean environment makes one feel better."

"It's not completely clean yet. Let's keep going."

Saying this, Yukinoshita Yukino thoroughly cleaned the squeegee and put it away.

"Tanaka-kun, change the water in the bucket."

"Okay."

Masao Tanaka, returning with a bucket of clean water, saw Yukinoshita Yukino with her back to him, bending over to wipe a table.

Good opportunity...

Ahem, Masao Tanaka took a rag and joined in.

Besides the tables and chairs they usually used, the Service Club also had some other items piled up, and they both wiped everything clean as they went.

Although these tables and chairs weren't particularly dirty, wiping them all still took some time.

After wiping the last chair, Masao Tanaka wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"Oh, I'm so tired."

Yukinoshita Yukino also put down the rag in her hand and said.

"Let's rest for a while before continuing."

She reached out and rubbed her waist, clearly also very tired.
