As soon as the bodies of ryo and shimoro hit the ground in front of the gate, the eyes of the two guards widened simultaneously.
A single second…
Was enough for astonishment to turn into action.
The first guard with short black hair and a visible scar on his nose lunged a step forward. He didn't kneel, he didn't hesitate; he simply raised his wrist and pressed the metallic bracelet wrapped around his hand.
Fast presses.
Consecutive.
Memorized by heart.
Then he spoke in a serious, sharp voice that brooked no argument:
"Send the Central Processing Unit immediately!!"
At the same moment, the second guard—short, pot-bellied, wearing a tilted green hat—had leaned down with difficulty while panting, activating his own bracelet. Green light symbols appeared on its surface, stretching like fine threads, then piercing into the bodies of ryo and shimoro.
Two seconds passed…
Then the man exhaled with visible relief and wiped his forehead.
"Thank God…"
He said it with a tone of sincere relief.
"They are still alive. I won't be punished for letting someone die in front of me…"
The first guard's face contorted.
He turned to him irritably, his eyes sparking with anger.
"It's not a matter of punishment, you idiot!"
He said with suppressed emotion.
"You have someone on the brink of death in front of you, and you only care about not being punished?!"
The second guard raised his shoulders dismissively and returned the bracelet to its normal state.
"Spare me your noble ethics, man… everyone has their priorities."
The first did not reply.
His gaze returned immediately to ryo and shimoro.
He knelt this time.
He checked ryo's breathing, noticing the trembling of his fingers and the cold sweat on his forehead.
Then his eyes moved to shimoro… the dried blood, the stained clothes, the chest that barely rose.
"Hold on…"
He whispered in a low voice, as if addressing them.
A few minutes passed…
They seemed longer than the night itself.
Then, from deep within the road leading inside the kingdom, they appeared.
Six people.
Walking with synchronized, calm, and confident steps.
Wearing long white clothes, clean, without any combat emblem. They carried no stretchers, no visible tools… only large bags on their backs made of dark green metal, engraved with delicate patterns.
As soon as they approached and saw the scene—two bodies lying down, a large bag, and two guards at the gate—they stopped in a single instant.
The six raised their hands…
And in a synchronized movement, the bags on their backs opened.
A faint hum.
Then…
An aura appeared on their hands...
The metal emerged from inside the bags like liquid, flowing with amazing speed, intertwining, bending, and straightening in the air.
Plates, rods, joints… all assembling before the eyes of the guards within seconds.
In less than a minute, there were formed…
Two metallic beds.
Polished, stable, and perfect, as if they had just come out of an advanced factory.
One of the processing unit members said in a serious and calm voice as he approached:
"Alright… thank you for taking care of them."
The first guard raised his head quickly, his features tense, then said with clear sincerity:
"No, I am the one who should thank you!"
As for the second guard…
He was standing at the gate, arms crossed, looking at the sky as if calculating the time, uninterested in anything but one thing:
Was the incident recorded against me or not?
The processing team exchanged short looks—a passing bewilderment—then ignored the matter entirely.
They approached ryo and shimoro with professionalism.
They carried the two bodies with extreme caution, placed them on the metallic beds, and then secured the large bag beside them without question, as if they understood it was an integral part of the story.
Three held each bed.
Their movement was light and graceful, far removed from the weight of the metal they were carrying.
And they entered…
Green Earthia Kingdom.
The kingdom from the inside was another world.
People from different races, their clothes a blend of practical and advanced.
Towering buildings covered with metallic wood, their windows reflecting the greenery.
Precisely organized agricultural lands, plants growing on stone platforms, and fine metallic pipes watering them from underground.
As the processing unit passed, people cleared the way immediately.
In silence.
With respect.
As if everyone knew that this moment… was life or death.
"Mother, what is happening?.."
It was the voice of a child holding his mother's hand innocently, but his mother replied with indifference, "Don't mind it, my son, it's nothing.."
Then she turned away with the child.
The processing unit continued to advance, until a giant green building appeared before them.
Nine floors.
Its walls covered with metallic floral engravings pulsing with a faint light.
Green Earthia Central Hospital.
To be continued
