Chapter 1 - Guilt

Again and again.

Why was this happening

Why

Why

Why!

Tears flooded his eyes, he hated being helpless like this, why was he was he in the same dream again?

Every. Single. Night. He was transported into this damned place, the same fragantful garden, the same majestic palace, the same feeling.

He gazed upon the empty palace, it's minimalistic marbled exterior adorned with gold contrasted it against the wide range of colours next to it.

Every single time Arya was here, he couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt, like he was the one that caused this palace to be empty, maybe he had, so now he had been chained to the very sin he committed.

The very first time Arya awoke here, he was mesmerized by the sheer beauty the whole palace gave off, he couldn't help but explore the whole place, but now the very place that once amazed him had turned into a source of his disgust.

The sun was shining brightly in the sky, giving everything a warm and bright glow, the palace was practically shining beckoning him to go closer, and closer.

Arya so desperately wanted to know why he was here, why was he getting teleported here again and again every time he slept, to explore the palace once again like the first dozen times he came here, but all his efforts were futile.

During the few times he came here he explored the castle fully, searching for any signs of other people, like workers. When he couldn't find anyone he tried to imagine someone in the dream, if he knew he was in a dream the this has to be a lucid dream right? But it never worked out he was all alone.

After that Arya could barely stir a limb, whenever he awoke he would always be resting on a tree, watching the garden and palace, unmoving.

It was sad, he spent his days where he could walk not paying attention to anything, not caring on finding out why was he here every single night, his laziness was the source of his misfortune. And now he was stuck, helpless in some words too.

Arya's eyes focused back to the palace, the same one he's seen more than a 100 times, by now Arya is pretty sure he could list out every detail of the palace by the sheer amount of times he's been here, and don't ge-

Arya's eyes flashed to the palace's largest rooms window, it can't be possible, he's probably seeing things right. No. The curtain definitely moved.

The translucent white curtains had moved as if someone had moved it.

What the-

A loud crash interrupted his thoughts, even though he was a good distance away from the palace, but the sound was clear.

What the hell was happening???
