Chapter 175 - Chapter 175 — The Suddenly Appearing Administrator

Facing the energy projectile fired by Harold after he transformed into a gigantic Triceratops form, Danny directly met it head-on, reinforcing his fists and armor with the power of the Divine Dragon.

The clash between the two sides formed a striking contrast.

The energy sphere was so enormous that it completely engulfed Danny's entire body, while the fist he used to intercept it appeared utterly insignificant in comparison.

The situation on the field looked very much like a mantis trying to stop a chariot.

However, what happened after the two attacks collided head-on was completely opposite of what it looked like.

Danny's seemingly small and weak fist actually pressed down against the overwhelmingly oppressive energy sphere.

More precisely, it was the fist enhanced by Divine Dragon power that smashed through the energy sphere with unstoppable force.

It could only be said that the quality of the two powers was not on the same level at all.

Although the Triceratops Dopant's energy sphere was enormous, and although the amount of Divine Dragon power Danny could unleash was very limited, his fists could still easily shatter the energy sphere.

However, the energy contained in the sphere released by the Triceratops Dopant was far too massive.

The consequence of Danny destroying it head-on was that the energy inside could not be controlled and inevitably overflowed, causing enormous destruction to everything around it.

It was like a balloon filled with water.

Danny's fist was like a needle piercing that balloon.

The needle could easily pop it, but Danny did not have enough Divine Dragon power to annihilate or control the chaotic energy that spilled out after it burst.

As a result, the "water" inside the balloon naturally poured out once it ruptured.

"Oh no!"

When Danny saw the energy sphere collapse and its power surge outward in all directions like an uncontrollable flood, his heart sank.

If this powerful torrent of energy wasn't restrained, it would definitely cause massive destruction to the surroundings.

The blond man's gang aside, the nearby buildings certainly wouldn't withstand such a force.

The residents inside would inevitably be affected, and many innocent people could be injured or killed.

Watching the out-of-control energy about to smash into the nearby buildings, Danny clenched his teeth and mobilized every last bit of energy inside his body, pushing the Divine Dragon power to its absolute limit.

A golden, blurry phantom of a Divine Dragon formed around him.

The phantom opened its mouth and sucked in, causing the scattered energy to flow backward as if time were rewinding, all of it being swallowed by the dragon and completely annihilated.

After performing this move, Danny had nearly exhausted all the energy he had cultivated, and he couldn't help but pant heavily.

Harold stared blankly at the gradually fading Divine Dragon phantom.

This kind of technique was simply unheard of.

Completely out-of-control energy had been gathered back together like spilled water being collected again, then silently erased without stirring even the slightest ripple.

But when he noticed Danny's heavy breathing, Harold burst into laughter.

"It looks like that move just now cost you a lot. Since you're so eager to play the hero, I'll help you do it."

As he spoke, he fired another energy sphere — directly at a nearby building.

Since Danny wanted to protect the innocent, Harold decided to attack the buildings without restraint, using it as a way to drain Danny's power.

Harold was extremely wary of Danny's Divine Dragon power.

If he could force Danny to exhaust it and remove that threat, then dealing with him afterward would be easy.

"Damn it! Harold, have you lost your mind?!"

Danny was furious and anxious. If that energy blast hit, countless residents in that building would be affected.

But he had almost no energy left inside his body, and the golden aura on his fists was far dimmer than before.

"Do I just stand here and watch?!"

The thought flashed through his mind — but his body moved immediately.

No matter what, he had to stop Harold's madness.

Ao Xing instantly understood Danny's intention and said:

"The energy inside your body is no longer enough to unleash much Divine Dragon power.

If you rush in now, you can at best break the energy sphere, but it will still cause huge destruction — and we'll take massive damage ourselves."

Danny did not slow down as he ran toward the energy sphere.

"You're still cooperating with me, aren't you? We're one body now."

Ao Xing chuckled.

"One man and one dragon, actually. If it weren't for your firm resolve, I wouldn't cooperate with you in something this foolish."

Just as Danny and Ao Xing were about to use their own bodies to block the energy sphere, a strange halo suddenly expanded.

Danny, Harold, and the energy sphere were all enveloped by it — and vanished in an instant.

After Danny and Harold disappeared

"Boss… what should we do?" one of the gang members asked the blond man tremblingly.

The blond man let out a long breath, glanced at the injured men, and said irritably:

"What else can we do? Take the wounded and leave immediately!"

After witnessing Danny and Harold's battle — especially after Harold turned into a gigantic Triceratops — the blond man clearly understood that neither of them was someone his group could deal with.

The best strategy was simply to run.

Even the residual shockwaves had shattered the concrete ground. This level of combat was not something ordinary people could even observe safely — one careless moment and they'd be killed by the aftermath.

Now that both Danny and Harold had disappeared, the blond man didn't care why.

He just wanted to get out of here.

Elsewhere

"Who are you? And where is this place?"

Danny stared cautiously at the completely changed surroundings and asked the sudden third person —Genm.

Genm smiled slightly.

"I am the game administrator. You may call me Lord Genm — or Administrator."

"This is the battlefield I designed so that you can fight without restraint: the Duel Game Field.

Since you don't carry the Bugster Virus, fighting outside the game field is meaningless to me and won't let me collect any useful game data."

He waved his hand.

A city plaza.

A plain in the wilderness.

A valley between mountains.

A lonely island in the middle of the sea…

One scene after another switched rapidly.

"Choose a battleground you like," Genm said excitedly, "and fight with everything you have until one of you is defeated."
