Yue Yue was beyond frustrated. Seeing Han Soi's rogue smile only made her feel more like a small, angry kitten being teased by a giant lion.
"Put me down!" she screamed, kicking her legs as Han Soi suddenly swooped in and lifted her by the waist.
"I don't want to talk! You better listen to me, Han Soi! Do you think I want your charity? If you love someone else, go and wait for her! Don't think I'll lack men in my life! I'll go to the Temple and find ten mates just to spite you!"
Han Soi's smile didn't reach his eyes this time. The mention of other men sent a cold, sharp spike of jealousy through his veins.
He realized that if he didn't shut her infuriating mouth now, she would keep saying heartless words that would drive him insane.
Why would he wait for anyone else when his entire world was currently screaming in his arms?
"You talk too much, Yue Yue," he growled, his voice low and dangerous.
