In a worn out building, there was laying an unconscious body. The body was male, he had black hairs and he had signs of facial hair since he had shared en his beard. His body was covered in sweat and his shirt was wet. It was Suraj, he was lying there, his diaphragm was moving up and down due to his breathing.

Inside the International Space Organisation (ISO), USA.
The sudden disappearance of the world has thrown the world upside down. The whole world was in chaos due to the news of moon being disappeared. Ofcourse it had an instant effect on the tides of the world. The higher tides had reduced significantly over the night.
The HQ of ISO was in chaos. Even if there was an asteroid or a big phenomenon that was away , ISO would have detected it immediately. But this unnatural disappearance of the Moon was indeed a big news, a BIG news.
Since it was night in India when Suraj was watching the disappearance, here in US it was night. This was the darkest night, you were not able to see a thing in the darkness, even if people drove with headlights on , they weren't ble to see things clearly. If not for the street lights things would have been a lot more chaotic.
Rachael, the Head of the Bureau was now in a confused state. Not only her, everyone in the world was now panicked by the news.
"Did anyone figured out the reason?" She asked yelling.
"We are working ma'am but this could not be explained scientifically, there was no sign of a destruction, no sign of loss of force, it cannot be explained ma'am" Someone in the group said.
"Ma'am, we found a video recording of disappearance of the moon". They put it on the projector, all they could see was the moon disappearing...more of getting devoured in the dark.

Suraj woke up, placing his hand on his forehead. It was throbbing for some unknown reason.
"Ahh, why the hell my head hurts so much?" He said "Is it because I drank too much yesterday?". He slowly stood up remembering yesterday's events, his body shivered.
"What the f*ck was that? Was that a dream?"
He touched his shirt, his hands shaking.
" No, it wasn't a dream. Wtf was that?"
He soon ran towards the window, but he wasn't able to find anything. He went outside looking around the house but he wasn't able to find anything. Since he was no longer in a job, he wasn't in a hurry to go outside.
He was scared by yesterday's events, he wanted to get the hell out of here. But it wasn't that easy, he was short on money. Besides he had a lot of debt to clear out.
" F*ck my life"
His head was throbbing. He wanted to have a coffe right now, he went to the kitchen searching the shelf, but he wasn't able to find the coffe powder. It had run out. He did his morning dump before he went to the nearest coffe shop.
In India you can find a coffe shop in every street, they were small. Suraj went to the nearest coffe shop, a small glass of coffe costs around ₹10-₹20. He purchased a cup of tea, he took a sip.
'Wait, wasn't I gonna order a coffe? What's up with me? Let's just drink anyway'
He sipped the tea, a news was being broadcasted. Suraj curiously watched the television. Television in shops were common in India. He sat down on a chair looking at the TV.
[The Moon has mysteriously disappeared! Noone knows the reason, Last night the moon has disappeared. You can see that in the west, since there is no presence of moon, the nights are darkest in the west. Darkest ever witnessed, this changes the mechanisms of Earth, or perhaps the solar system.....]
Suraj stopped sipping his tea. Since any were already watching the television before him, they were already in the surprised state. Suraj's head started to throbbed for some reason.

Somewhere in the west.
The night was so dark, people didn't even step out of their houses. But some people who were returning from their work were frightened by the news. What happened to the moon? The whole world was already aware of the news.
A man was returning from his work in a car, even though street lights were on, he wasn't able to see many things. So he had to use Google maps to reach his home. He was on his way to home driving, he was indeed scared. Many companies did annouce a holiday for their own personal reasons.
He took a left turn. There was a black hand rising from the underground, but since it was extremely dark he wasn't able to see anything. But soon the black hand glowed, it rose up from the underground. It was that of a human shape, but his head was 180° downwards, it was crawling on the ground. It didn't blink it's glowing eyes, its limbs were as thin as a bamboo.
As soon as the man saw the complete figure of the inhuman thing, he panicked but somehow he managed to drive faster, he didn't care if it hit the thing. He sped up driving faster crushing the thing, his heart was beating faster. He drove faster.
But unfortunately for him that wasn't the only thing. These inhuman things started to rise from everywhere, this time the man had no escape, he was surrounded by all of them. Each were of different forms, they jumped on the car crushing the windows, killing the man, they ripped his limbs apart, chewing the limbs and his flesh. Blood trickled from every part of his body. His scream was loud waking all the people in the neighborhood.
The crunching sound of his bones, the chewing sound of his flesh were being emitted from those monsters. Dark, scary monsters.
