Chapter 82 - Chapter 82: Reunion! Super Saiyan vs. Super Saiyan

Planet Namek.

After maintaining his Super Saiyan state for a long time, Goku finally relaxed and allowed the golden transformation to fade away. He sat cross legged, breathing slowly, attempting to stabilize his newfound realm and push it even higher.

He had no idea that the moment he broke through, the shockwave of his spirit had surged across countless star systems.

And Vegeta felt it.

While Goku meditated with renewed determination, Krillin, Gohan, and Nail prepared to resume their own training. They knew very clearly that the gap between them and Goku had become enormous. They knew they would never catch up no matter what they tried.

But even so, they kept training.

At their level, stopping meant falling even further behind.

As warriors, they refused to let their hearts rust.

Just as they were ready to begin, all three suddenly froze.

A massive spaceship appeared in front of them.

Not from above.

Not from the distance.

It simply appeared.

No light.

No sound.

No approach.

One moment the clearing was empty.

The next, a colossal Frieza styled battleship stood there.

Krillin rubbed his eyes so hard he nearly hurt himself.

"Gohan… Nail… tell me I am not losing my mind."

"You are not," Gohan said with wide eyes. "I see it too. That is Vegeta's ship. And I can feel Vegeta and Aunt Bulma inside."

His voice trembled with excitement and unease.

He had grown to respect Vegeta over the months, but that instinctive fear… that tension… still lingered.

"You are right," Nail said. "Vegeta, Bulma, and his elites… they are all inside. But how did they appear without traveling through the atmosphere? How is this even possible?"

Their shock intensified.

At the same time, deep within meditation, Goku felt a familiar ki enter Namek's sky. His eyes snapped open instantly.

Vegeta.

He stood at once and raced toward the landing site. When he encountered Krillin and the others along the way, their explanation left him even more stunned.

He had sensed Vegeta's ki.

Opened his eyes.

And the ship was already there.

Inside the ship.

Bulma and Hela stared at the monitors with their mouths open.

Even though they had already experienced Instant Transmission several times, traversing the emptiness of space instantly still felt unbelievable.

"We actually arrived on Namek in a single moment. And there they are… Goku, Gohan, Krillin… all right outside," Bulma whispered in disbelief.

Her reaction ignited excited chatter among Vegeta's subordinates. They praised their king with near reverence. Instant Transmission had already elevated Vegeta in their minds beyond any ordinary warrior.

Vegeta ignored them.

Through the glass he saw Goku, Gohan, Krillin, and Nail staring at the ship, still frozen in disbelief.

He smirked.

"We gave them a shock. They are probably wondering how we appeared from thin air."

Bulma nodded vigorously.

"Anyone would be shaken. Crossing a star system instantly… it is unreal. It reminds me of the first time we summoned Shenron. Before seeing it with our own eyes, nobody would believe something like that."

"Let us go," Vegeta said softly.

He turned and led his group out.

Two and a half months had passed.

The moment their eyes met, everyone could tell that everything had changed.

Vegeta took the lead and immediately scanned the four warriors standing before him.

With calm eyes he activated Bulma's smart scouter glasses.

"Krillin… one million two hundred thousand.

Gohan… one million three hundred thousand.

Nail… one million five hundred fifty thousand.

Kakarot… six million five hundred thousand."

He removed the glasses and returned them to his subordinate.

"I did not expect you to increase your battle power this much in two and a half months. Very impressive. Especially you, Kakarot. You exceeded my estimates."

Krillin nearly choked.

So I really passed a million…

One million two hundred thousand…

Then why do I still feel like a bug next to them…

He wanted to feel proud, but next to Goku and Vegeta, the feeling simply evaporated.

Gohan felt excitement fill his chest.

Six million five hundred thousand.

His father had grown to such an extent.

Nail felt something close to despair.

They had trained for nearly three months…

Yet the gap between him and Goku was now almost five million.

But before he could dwell on that feeling, Goku stepped forward.

"Of course we worked hard. We had to catch up as much as possible. Vegeta… I am not the same man you fought two and a half months ago. I have become a Super Saiyan."

Vegeta's expression did not change.

"I know. If you were still the weakling I beat before, I would not have bothered coming."

Goku smiled wryly.

That sounded exactly like Vegeta.

Then he asked the question burning in all their minds.

"So… you sensed that I became a Super Saiyan. And that is why you returned? But how did you feel it from so far away? And how did your ship appear like that? That should be impossible… right?"

Vegeta folded his arms and smiled slightly.

Goku waited with excitement.

Krillin leaned forward.

Gohan held his breath.

Nail tensed.

Bulma peeked from behind, grinning because she already knew.

Vegeta finally answered.

"Impossible?

Kakarot… I have already mastered the secret art of the Yardrats."

He paused.

Then said calmly:

"I can travel across the stars in a single moment."
