Chapter 36 - The conference part 2

The sun had set as night darkened the sky. The world went silent to rest for the next days toil.

But the tower of Tempest still had its energy crystals illuminating the Hall of Order.

The 7 chieftains under the presence of the Grand Wizard "Gretha Wasowski", herself.

They discussed maters regarding the heated battles taking place in the orc realm and how it was affecting the realm of "Ling sha".

They argued and debated with eachother, with the chieftain of the giants always ending up in argument with the chieftain of the orcs.

After hours of discussion they all eventually came to a conclusion.

The world of Ling sha will be moved closer to elevn world and the orc world be moved in between the world of Dragons and the Beasts.

There was an initial call for war as the orc chieftain felt the judgment was to keep the orcs monitered by the strongest of the races.

He protested but eventually was soothed down by the Grand wizard and her not so subtle authority.

"The verdict had been passed, the orc realm will be moved in between the realm of the Dragons and the Beast , and the ling sha realm will be moved to the elven world.".

Grand wizard lifted her staff to the ceiling of the hall, and began an incantation.

The energy crystals in the hall flickered as arcs of golden light erupted from the Grand wizard.

It enveloped her and she floated in the air.

The tower rumbled and the fabric of the realms trembled.

The round table split into 7 sections and was pulled back to the walls.

The ground beneath from where the table was, split open and out came the world map.

7 spheres representing the seven realms.

Beast realm

Dragon realm

Giant realm

Orc realm

Ling sha realm

Delver realm

Elf realm

The spheres moved under the Grand wizards spell, the tower shifted the tables sections moved and rearranged.

Now the Ling sha realm was away from the Orc realm.

Surrounded by the realm of Elf and the realm of Beast, safe from harms way of the daring orcs.

The hall settled as the spell stoped, rearranging in the said order, the spheres returned and the table joined together.

The chieftain of the orc now seated between the chieftains of the Beast and the Dargon.

But he didnt protest.

The Grand wizard stood down, half of her energy reserve was used up inorder to move the world.

Her staff flickered back to its original state, the golden light radiating from the Grand wizard flickered out.

A seat formed again and she sat down, yet not a single drop of exhaustion reflected on her face.

She settled down while maintaining her demeanor.

Seeing the fuming orc and the snickering giant having his time, both of them struggling to hold back from bursting out, one in rage while the other in laughter.

The Grand wizard spoke,

"Thank you all for your cooperation, I know you all are not pleasant with this days discussion but let's all hope this was for the better."

After a moment,

"Now then let's all hope for a bright future where peace and freedom coexist, and the forces of evil and darkness have been destroyed and completely sealed off from entering our world."

"Here by i conclude the Meeting of the chieftains. Thank you all for your presence and co-operation. You may leave now".

As she concluded 7 doors parallel to the chieftains chairs flung open.

The chieftain of the orc was the first to rise from his chair and walk away.

And soon everyone else followed suit, leaving their respected seats and returning to the realms through those doors which lead to their world.

After they left the Grand wizard let out a sigh of relief.

"Another possible war averted. Well done my girl well done.", she said parting her own shoulders.

---------------

Through the door to the tower she left the hall, the energy crystals died out as she exited.

She entered her chamber, and kept her staff to the wall, then she undid her dress, the white robe of silk pooling at her feet.

She took off her hat and placed it on her table, where many scripts and potions were kept.

She waved her hand and the wardrobe door opened and out came another white robe.

It floated to her and then drapped itself around her.

She sat down on a chair and snapped her fingers, the table moved towards her.

From the table a book so old that it was written in ancient script lost to ages floated up and landed on her hand.

The pages turned by itself and stopped at a page where a picture of a portal was illustrated.

Pure blue light came from the picture, as the portal came to life, through the portal a silhouette of a face appeared.

"Elena..."

The Wizard called, and a response came from in the portal,

"Yes Your greatness.."

"Did you find him? The hero."

Slowly the face became clear, It was the elf which had earlier saved the life of Don from the demoness.

She turned her gaze to look at Don, still unconscious.

"Yes he is alive..."

The Wizards brow raised in question,

"What do you mean alive?..."

Letting out a sigh the elf replied,

"When i was wandering tracking the hero's presence, I sensed an ominous source"

The wizard hearing this leaned forward,

"The demons. But how?..."

"It seems like they have entered the human realm, and she had already had him at the brink of death".

"And thanks to it he survived, I reached in time and gave him the antidote sensing the presence of poison in him, and thanks to that i am out of the all cure"

The wizard couldnt believe it, 'the demons entering the human realm, they have never interfered, with the humans.' She pondered.

'Seems like they are desperate for power after the war with heaven'.

But then she stood up from the chair, her face pale in disbelief, 'Human realm'.

"Why are you in the human realm, the rupture was in the elven realm?".

Her voice heavy with worry.

The elf understanding the wizards disbelief replied,

"Turns out our hero is a human, and-"

She looked back at Don once again,

"a weak one at that".

The words spoken by the elena reached her ears,it brought her crashing down on to the chair. Her eyes wide in disbelief.

"A human, hero. The book never said anything about him being a human."

The light from the portal vanished and book fell down on the floor like an ordinary one.
