Chapter 83 - VS God Enel!

Enel, hailed as a god, wasn't just worshipped out of reverence—but out of fear.

As the wielder of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, his power was overwhelming.

With a casual gesture, he could summon divine lightning—

his signature move, Judgment of God(El Thor), could reduce an entire city block to ash.

When enraged, he could bring down country-level lightning annihilation.

Flattening an entire nation was not beyond him.

Worse still, combining the power of his lightning with his Mantra (Observation Haki),

he could eavesdrop on every word, every breath, every footstep across Angel Island.

There was nowhere to hide.

These two abilities combined created a terrifying reality:

Sky Island's people revered him as a god—no one dared oppose him.

If there were any who still resisted…

it was only the Shandians, exiled 400 years ago, who had fought tirelessly

for generations to reclaim their homeland from "God."

"Rumble-Rumble Fruit, huh? I'll be taking that."

Whiteflame didn't waste time talking. With a flick of his hand,

the ground beneath them unraveled into strings—

a massive tide of white threads surged toward Enel!

The Rumble-Rumble Fruit was considered one of the most "invincible" Logia fruits.

Whiteflame had been targeting it even before setting foot on Sky Island.

And now that Enel had appeared before him, there was no room for hesitation.

"Quite the flashy tricks!"

"But such little games won't work on a god!"

Enel sneered, lightning crackling in his grin.

He turned into pure lightning, flickering through the air, effortlessly dodging the surging tide of threads.

To be fair, while Enel lacked Armament Haki, his Observation Haki was at an incredible level.

Combined with lightning, his Mantra allowed him to predict any attack instantly.

"Do you see now?"

"I am lightning! The embodiment of the strongest force in nature!"

"You ignorant Blue Sea dwellers think you can overcome nature itself?"

He laughed mockingly.

"You talk too much."

Whiteflame's voice cut through his arrogance.

In a flash of light, Whiteflame teleported behind him, his foot glowing brightly—

and unleashed a devastating kick!

"He's fast!"

Enel's smug expression vanished as he sensed Whiteflame behind him.

Thankfully, his Mantra alerted him in time.

Without looking, he dodged in a bolt of lightning, reappearing atop another tree.

"Impressive… a Blue Sea dweller with that kind of speed."

Enel smirked. He'd always seen the people of the Blue Sea as weaklings—

this was the first time someone had forced him to take things seriously.

"Seems the gap between canon and reality is wider than I thought."

Whiteflame narrowed his eyes.

He hadn't even gone all-out—just used a bit of the Glint-Glint Fruit(Light-Light Fruit)

and Armament Haki to teach Enel a lesson and knock him down.

After all, Whiteflame still needed information from him—

particularly the whereabouts of the Silent Fruit.

But to his surprise, Enel had dodged the attack.

Even Admirals would have had trouble reacting in time.

That said, it made sense.

In the manga, Enel's 200 million volts could vaporize anything—

except Luffy, thanks to rubber immunity and the power of plot armor.

But in this more grounded version of reality,

Enel's abilities had been amped up—

his Mantra was sharper, and his lightning more lethal.

"So what if you're fast?"

"Before nature, speed is meaningless!"

[Judgment of God]

Thunder surged violently from Enel's wrist.

He raised his arm, summoning a massive bolt of lightning that engulfed Whiteflame!

"Whiteflame!"

"You shameless pervert! How dare you hurt my man?! I'll kill you!!"

baby-5 was furious. Seeing Whiteflame struck by lightning,

she aimed her cannon at Enel with murderous intent.

"So this is the mighty power of nature?"

"How pathetically weak."

As the blinding light faded, the trees and rocks Enel's lightning touched

were completely vaporized—charred, broken, pierced through like butter.

The destruction was terrifying.

And yet—standing unscathed, right where he'd been hit,

was Whiteflame. Not even a scorch mark on him.

He stared at Enel with cold, emotionless eyes.

"You're okay?! Oh thank god!"

baby-5 clutched her chest in relief.

"You dodged it…?"

Enel's gaze narrowed.

He'd sensed Whiteflame taking the full brunt of the attack.

His Mantra had been crystal clear—no room to dodge.

So how was this man standing there unharmed?

Something was off.

"If Judgment of God won't work…"

"Then let's try something a little more exciting!"

[60 Million Volts: Thunder Dragon!]

Enel struck the golden drums on his back with his metal staff.

He didn't bother with the 30-million-volt Thunderbird or Thunder Beast—

instead, he summoned his strongest form: the Thunder Dragon.

This was it—he was going to end it in one blow,

and remind these Blue Sea fools just how terrifying god really was.

A massive dragon formed from pure lightning roared from his back,

lighting up the sky. With a heaven-shaking cry,

it lunged straight at Whiteflame.

The Death of Enel

"Electricity vs. photons… about time we settle this."

Whiteflame calmly raised his hand. His fingertip glowed.

In the world of One Piece, the Glint-Glint Fruit and Rumble-Rumble Fruit

were often compared. Both had similar elemental properties,

but fans constantly debated—which was stronger?

The Glint-Glint Fruit could fire laser beams.

The Rumble-Rumble Fruit could unleash lightning pillars like El Thor

and devastating AoE attacks like Judgment of God.

one through photons, the other through electricity.

In close combat, they were evenly matched.

But in terms of ultimate attacks,

Enel's Raigo was clearly stronger than Kizaru's Yasakani no Magatama,

or even his Amaterasu-like lasers(multi-directional laser barrages).

Some believed that if Enel had gone to the New World

and learned Armament Haki,

he could rival the Four Emperors.

Whiteflame was here to find out.

Which was stronger—light or lightning?

[Enhanced Laser Cannon]

A golden beam, thick as an arm, burst from Whiteflame's fingertip—

slamming into the oncoming Thunder Dragon!

BOOM!!!

The two attacks collided mid-air with explosive force.

A deafening shockwave rocked the entire forest.

For hundreds of meters, the land was scorched and torn apart.

Birds scattered, animals fled in terror.

Smoke and dust filled the sky—

And two figures shot out of the explosion!

"Still alive after that? You're one stubborn bastard!"

The figures were Enel and Whiteflame.

Enel laughed coldly.

"But no matter how tough you are—against a god, you will die!"

[200 Million Volts: Raijin!]

ZZZZZHHH!!!

Electricity exploded from Enel's body,

coating him in blinding arcs of power.

His form shifted—becoming a massive humanoid of pure thunder,

a lightning god incarnate.

"Behold the form of a god!"

"To die by my hand… is an honor even I envy!"

Enel laughed madly. In a flash, he appeared behind Whiteflame—

a palm glowing with 200 million volts of thunder!

"Die!!"

This blow—if it landed—meant instant death.

"Enel… are you still playing this childish game?"

"Did you think my mercy was a weakness?"

"It's time you learned your place."

Whiteflame turned his head, eyes sharp as blades.

As Enel's electrified palm neared his back,

Whiteflame raised a hand and sidestepped,

then grabbed Enel's neck with a single move—

his arm wrapped in Armament Haki, tightening like a vice.

At the same time, Enel's massive hand landed directly on Whiteflame's chest.

ZZZZZTTT—!!!

Lightning surged violently,

blasting outward in all directions.

But Whiteflame stood amidst the electricity,

unmoving, untouched,

his body bathed in light—

like a god made of thunder himself.
