Later when everyone was busy working and there was actually no one by Gaffer's side, Gaffer decided to travel by skyship to the Tribe House to see Linda.
He didn't miss her. He was just going to check up on her~ right?
Actually he'd go check up on her then go to check up on his son too. His son was important, the most important and that was why he has to check on his son's beast-guardian—Linda. Right?
Gaffer had prepared himself to give these excuses to his dragon beast if it dared to say "Ah, you see? You missed her too that's why we're going there."
But for some strange reason, his dragon beast was silent. It was like it had gone hiding in fear or something.
"His majesty?" Someone called in shock.
Gaffer turned back to look at the one who called him.
He had arrived at the Tribe House and was discreetly going to find Jak, the beast servant of the Council who would then take him to Linda.
Unfortunately, a beast servant of one of the elders just caught him.
