Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Somthing that should be left alone

Sang Yun, walked to the shabby hut alone.

The sun at its peak warmed her body. Placing the two backpacks she went over the small garden, looking after it.

Then she came inside and looked through the clay pots, inspecting for cracks.

Since Wu Yan was out she could not wander alone, in the forest or the clan. While waiting she cleaned the hut and got ready their sacks if they still had time to forage.

Taking the sacks she looked for holes and tears to stitch, going closser to light. Going outside she heard steps.

Meanwhile Wu Yan, walked with a stoic face to a guest room inside the Sang Village's main building.

Sitting down he waited for the clan leader to show up, but seeing that the clan leader was still not coming, Wu Yan got suspicious.

He and the clan leader had a complicated relationship, since the clan leader called and didn't come. Either something bad happened to him or this was a scheme.

But who could scheme against Wu Yan? Even if the clansmen disliked him they would not dare to touch him. The only suspects were the clan leader or his son, Sang Xing, who held a long-standing animosity towards him.

The clan leader was not the type to use force directly, but his son was reckless enough to try.

Trusting his intuition Wu Yan got up trying to go out, but before he could exit a burly man stopped him, the one who guarded the walls.

With ferocious eyes he looked at Wu Yan, not hiding his bloodlust. "Where do you think you are going kid, hmm? I will crush that watermelon of a head that you have right now."

Saying this the burly guard charged. Punching at him with all his might.

Wu Yan's movements were fluid. He dodged the fist by an inch, and countered with a nasty strike to the solar plexus.

The burly man felt dizzy, gasping for air. Before he could recover, a kick from the young man struck his head, making him lose balance.

The man fell to the ground followed by a barrage of kicks and punches.

Wu Yan was breathing heavily, the smell of blood flowing into his nostrils. Finishing, he sprinted towards the hut, stoic and unfazed.

the scent of medicinal herbs invaded three mens noistrils as they came to the shabby hut.

Yun seeing the three recognized them as the clans leaders son Sang Xing and his two goons, coming to couse troble.

Sang Xing in a half hearted tone said.

"The clans head is sick and might be poisoned by some vicious person and as a suspect, Sang Yun you will be interrogated by us."

One of the goons came and grabbed at Sang Yun's hands, locking them behind her back.

Sang Yun didn't resist, she didn't have a choice, what can a person as weak as her do?

They walked behind the hut there less people lived. Sang Xing admired the beauty of Sang Yun, her black hair silky and her shape very alluring. He was jealous of Wu Yan, who lived with such beauty—a privilege his own father, for some unknown reason, denied him.

He got excited and wanted to feel her, to smell her natural odor of hydrangeas.

Sang Yun's face darkened.

Touching her made Sang Xing feel good, until a sense of danger flashed in his mind.

A memory flashed before his eyes. The clan leader was talking...

"Son, listen. You will naturally feel attracted to women. Every woman in the clan is fine except for Sang Yun. She might look fine, but really she is deranged and dangerous. For now, Wu Yan is helping the clan to deal with her."

In a moment Sang Xing's face sobered. He took a few steps back as he gazed into two cold and malicious eyes, unrecognizable from moments before. A voice filled with a chilling bloodlust came:

"You dirt. Touching me is a sin, a sin paid with life."
