Chapter 27 - 27

Mu Qingzhu glanced at her points, seeing that she still had over 40,000 left, and an urge to try her luck welled up within her.

At this moment, the system's voice rang out:

"Ding~ Host now has a new prize pool—Limited-Time Prize Pool. 5,000 points for one draw, 45,000 points for ten draws."

"Ding~ You can draw all items from the Pokémon world, including Legendary Pokémon. A ten-draw guarantees one Pokémon with Elite potential or higher. 1,000 draws guarantee a Legendary Pokémon. If a Legendary Pokémon is drawn early, the guarantee resets to zero. For every 100 draws, a mysterious reward will be granted."

"Ding~ The Limited-Time Prize Pool will open irregularly. Please keep an eye out, Host."

"Ding~ Countdown: 6 days, 59 minutes, 50 seconds."

As the system's voice sounded, the new prize pool appeared before her, and Mu Qingzhu developed a strong interest in it. However, she was still short of a full 5,000 points to perform a 10-draw. This sudden requirement made Mu Qingzhu realize the importance of points for the first time. In the past, she was accustomed to using dragon coins to buy items in the Flash Sale Mall, and points seemed to her to be an optional existence. But now, points had become the key to her pursuit of the rewards in the new prize pool.

Sensing Mu Qingzhu's need, the system's voice immediately rang out:

"Ding~ Detecting that the Host currently needs points, a new mission is now issued:"

"Mission (1): Capture six Pokémon (excluding Legendary Pokémon) with Elite potential or higher to complete a team setup. Current completion (5/6). Reward: 100,000 points."

"Ding~ Mission (2): For every Mega Evolution Pokémon captured, reward 10,000 points."

"Ding~ Mission (3): For every Pokémon capable of Gigantamaxing captured, reward 10,000 points."

"Ding~ Detecting that the Host has captured Kirlia, fulfilling Mission (2). Reward: 10,000 points."

Mu Qingzhu couldn't help but feel a slight headache listening to the continuous system commands, but compared to only receiving missions when major events occurred previously, such frequent notifications seemed acceptable.

Afterward, Mu Qingzhu gently rubbed her temples, and after a short rest, she once again led her Pokémon on a journey to the deepest part of the forest.

Not long after, Mu Qingzhu arrived at the deepest part of the forest.

Mu Qingzhu's gaze then fell upon the Bulbasaur that had previously clashed with Growlithe and Froakie. Beside the Bulbasaur, an Ivysaur, a full size larger than it, stood quietly, like a majestic guardian.

Mu Qingzhu then checked the strength of Bulbasaur and Ivysaur:

[Pokémon: Bulbasaur

[Pokémon: Ivysaur (BOSS)

Type: Grass, Poison

Level: 29

Gender: Female

Ability: Overgrow (When HP is low, the power of Grass-type moves increases)

Moves: Vine Whip, Tackle, Growl, Growth, Leech Seed, Razor Leaf, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder, Seed Bomb, Take Down, Sweet Scent

Egg Moves: Toxic

TM/HM: Protect, Substitute, Curse, Energy Ball, Seed Bomb

Potential: Advanced]

Seeing that this Ivysaur could use Protect and Toxic, what surprised Mu Qingzhu was that the previous Bulbasaur had not only gained two levels but also mastered Substitute and Protect within just a few days. Recalling their first encounter, it didn't know Substitute and Protect then, but now it had learned them, which truly showed this Bulbasaur's impressive learning ability. It seemed potential didn't determine everything.

Mu Qingzhu walked forward, accompanied by five lively and adorable Pokémon. Her gaze was fixed on the Ivysaur before her, and she said softly with a smile:

"Ivysaur, let's battle!"

"Ivysaur~"

Mu Qingzhu assessed Ivysaur's expression, seemingly receiving an affirmative answer, and then decisively commanded:

"Zorua, Hone Claws!"

"Kirlia, Psybeam!"

"Frogadier, Water Pulse!"

"Servine, Magical Leaf!"

"Growlithe, Ember!"

Seeing this series of moves, Ivysaur immediately used Protect and said to Bulbasaur:

"Ivysaur~" (Son, come help Mom.)

"Bulbasaur~" (Okay, Mom.)

When Kirlia's Pokémon successively unleashed their moves, fiercely striking the sturdy barrier constructed by Ivysaur, they failed to inflict any damage.

Immediately after, Bulbasaur and Ivysaur tacitly released Poison Powder. As Grass-type Pokémon, their combined Poison Powder spread covered almost the entire battlefield, leaving the opponents nowhere to escape.

"Frogadier, Rain Dance followed by continuous Water Gun!"

"Kirlia, Confusion to envelop the Poison Powder!"

As the Poison Powder rapidly spread, almost covering the entire battlefield, and with no Flying-type Pokémon in the team, Mu Qingzhu decisively ordered Frogadier to use Rain Dance. The fine rain fell, effectively neutralizing a portion of the Poison Powder, and then Kirlia released Confusion, firmly enveloping the remaining Poison Powder.

When they saw that the Poison Powder did not cause a poisoned effect, Bulbasaur quickly used Razor Leaf, and at the same time, Ivysaur also used the same move without hesitation.

Mu Qingzhu had her Pokémon scatter to avoid the attacks and commanded:

"Zorua, use Agility while Honing Claws!"

"Frogadier, Smokescreen!"

"Kirlia, get close to Ivysaur and use Mystical Fire to attract Ivysaur's attention!"

"Servine, harass Ivysaur with Magical Leaf!"

"Growlithe, Agility combined with Flame Charge to attack Bulbasaur!"

Zorua darted across the battlefield like lightning, moving with astonishing speed. He skillfully used Hone Claws, not only increasing his attack power but also making every strike hit its target with pinpoint accuracy, demonstrating his unparalleled Agility and powerful offense. Meanwhile, Frogadier cleverly unleashed Smokescreen, shrouding the battlefield in a haze, creating an excellent opportunity for Kirlia to attack from the shadows. Kirlia seized this chance, silently approaching Ivysaur, and Mystical Fire burst forth instantly, successfully hitting the target. Servine was not to be outdone, its Magical Leaf raining down like a dense shower of arrows on Ivysaur, putting it in an even more difficult situation. Finally, Growlithe sped in like a gust of wind, perfectly combining Agility with Flame Charge, striking Bulbasaur with a single, decisive blow, leaving it no chance to retaliate.

Bulbasaur and Ivysaur, with their vision obstructed, blindly swung their Vine Whips in wide-ranging attacks, yet failed to hit their targets. This was all thanks to Mu Qingzhu's Aura Power; she quickly made judgments and gave precise commands, ensuring that both of their Vine Whip attacks missed their intended targets.
