Episode 32: Turning Point – The Jade Chamber Ascends

[Location: The Skies above Liyue Harbor – The Jade Chamber]

[Time: 9:00 PM]

The wind howled, carrying the salty spray of the ocean even this high up. The Jade Chamber floated ominously toward the storm, a golden island defying the apocalypse.

On the main deck, the tension was suffocating.

Lady Ningguang stood at the center, her expression unreadable. Beside her, Keqing was barking orders to the Millelith, her sword already drawn.

Suddenly, the clouds parted. Three distinct streaks of light descended—the Adepti.

Cloud Retainer, Moon Carver, and Mountain Shaper. And silently appearing on the roof, the Yaksha, Xiao.

"To think the Qixing would require our aid," Cloud Retainer scoffed, flapping her wings. "The city of contracts is truly fragile without its Lord."

"We are not here to argue," Keqing snapped, though her hand trembled slightly. "We are here to survive. Osial is an ancient god. We need firepower."

"We have the Guizhong Ballistas," Ningguang said calmly, gesturing to the massive crossbow turrets materializing on the platform. "But we need people to defend them while the Adepti power them."

Aether ran onto the platform, Paimon floating anxiously beside him. "We're here! Where's Raiden?"

"I don't know," Keqing frowned, scanning the dark skies. "He said he was getting a 'ride'. If he fled, I'll—"

VROOOOM.

A sound unlike anything Teyvat had ever heard cut through the thunder. It was a low, mechanical growl, rising in pitch to a screaming whine.

A beam of purple lightning shot up from the harbor below.

It wasn't a bolt. It was a vehicle.

I crested the edge of the Jade Chamber, drifting sideways in mid-air.

My [Motorcycle Eradicator] (Mark I) hovered on four rotating Anemo-thrusters. It was a sleek, black-and-gold monstrosity, built using [All of Creation] from Ruin Guard parts and elemental crystals.

I killed the engine, letting the bike hum quietly. I wore a dark leather coat (mimicked via magic) and grinned at the stunned assembly.

"Did I miss the opening speech?" I asked, revving the throttle once. The bike shot a small jet of blue flame.

"What... is that?" Cloud Retainer stared, offended by the machinery. "Is that a contraption of the mortal realm?"

"It's called style, bird-mom," I winked. "Focus on the big calamari down there."

Below us, Osial roared. Five massive hydra heads lunged from the sea, spewing concentrated hydro beams.

"Open fire!" Ningguang commanded.

The Adepti poured their energy into the Ballistas. Beams of golden energy rained down on Osial. The god screamed, the ocean boiling around it.

But then, dark portals opened in the sky above the chamber.

Fatui. Hundreds of them. Skirmishers, Agents, Cicin Mages.

"They're trying to destroy the Ballistas!" Ganyu shouted.

"Defensive positions!" I yelled, kicking my bike into gear. "Great Sage, activate Auto-Pilot Combat Mode. Let's dance."

[Great Sage]

I sped across the platform. The motorcycle defied physics, driving on the walls and the air itself. Twin muzzles on the bike's front flared. Rat-tat-tat-tat! Concentrated electro-bullets shredded a group of Anemoboxer Vanguards before they could raise their shields.

I saw Keqing near the edge, surrounded by three Pyro Agents. She was fast, but she was tired.

One Agent decloaked behind her, knife raised.

"Keqing! Duck!"

She didn't question it. She dropped low.

I drifted the bike, swinging the rear wheel around like a club. The tire, reinforced with [Steel Strength], slammed into the Agent's face at 80 miles per hour.

He went flying off the Jade Chamber, screaming.

I hopped off the bike, letting it hover nearby as a turret, and landed next to her.

"Nice reflexes," I complimented, my hands glowing with [Dragon's Haki].

"You're late," Keqing panted, wiping sweat from her forehead. Her legs were shaking. She was running on fumes.

I grabbed her arm.

"Don't pull away."

"What are you—"

I activated [Lust: Kiss of Love] (modified for contact).

A warm, golden pulse flowed from my hand into her. It wasn't sexual; it was pure, concentrated life force.

Her fatigue vanished instantly. Her bruises healed. Her stamina bar refilled to 100%.

Her eyes widened, silver pupils dilating. She looked at me, shocked by the sudden rush of energy. "What... what was that?"

"A battery recharge," I smirked. "You're the Yuheng. I can't have you fainting on me. Now, go cut them to pieces."

She flushed slightly, then her expression hardened into steely resolve. She gripped her sword, purple electricity crackling brighter than before.

"I'll handle the left flank. You take the right!"

"Yes, ma'am."

For the next ten minutes, it was total chaos.

Xiao was a blur of green death. Aether was blasting enemies off the edge with Anemo.

I was a tank. I didn't dodge. I let the Fatui hit me, my [Dragon Scales] turning blades into scrap metal, before I grabbed them and threw them into the ocean.

My [Predator] instinct was itching. Fighting humans was boring.

I looked down at Osial.

The God of the Vortex was regenerating faster than the Ballistas could damage him.

And then, Osial looked up.

A massive ball of hydro energy formed in the central head's mouth. It wasn't aiming at the Ballistas.

It was aiming at the platform floor.

"It's going to break the Chamber!" Ningguang shouted.

"Not on my watch," I growled.

I whistled. My motorcycle zoomed over. I jumped on.

"Aether! Cover the Ballistas! I'm going for a ride!"

"Raiden! You can't fight a God head-on!" Aether screamed.

"Watch me!"

I slammed the throttle.

The bike shot off the edge of the Jade Chamber, diving straight down toward the ocean, straight toward the mouth of the God.

[Great Sage]

"Analyze the composition of that blast, Sage!" I shouted over the wind. "I'm not going to dodge it. I'm going to EAT it!"

As I plummeted, the massive Hydro beam fired.

I opened my mouth. My human jaw unhinged, revealing rows of shark-like dragon teeth. A vortex of black and red energy—[Predator]—swirled in front of me.

I collided with the god's breath.
