Chapter 42 - Condition

Seeing that book, she was about to say something when Revan looked at her and asked, "Can you read this book?"

Neha was surprised to see Revan asking the question. She did not understand why he was asking such a question. She said, "Yes, I can read this book. What is the big deal in this!"

After listening to Neha, Revan looked at her and said, "This is not a simple book but a magical book. Even I cannot read it."

He himself could not understand who this girl was who could read this magical book. To date, no one has been able to read this book. He even tried once, but he could not see anything written on the pages of that book. Thinking this, he opened the book again, but he could not see anything written on it. How is it possible that the book he cannot read was read by this girl? Then he remembered that he had kept this book locked in the library. Then how did this book reach this girl? He asked Neha, "Where did you get this book from?"

Neha was looking at Revan in surprise after hearing his question. Had this man standing in front of her gone mad to ask such strange questions? She said, "I found this book in the same library that you have built!"

Hearing Neha's question, Revan looked at the library from which he had just picked up the book. He thought in his mind, "This means that the people whom I ordered to build a library here. One of them brought this book and placed it there. But now was not the time to find out who placed this book there. Instead, it was important to know what this girl had read in this book."

He said to Neha, "You tell me where whatever you told me is written in this book."

Hearing Revan's question, Neha took the book from him and opened its page. After turning the pages continuously, she stopped at a page and said, "Here it is!"

Saying this, he placed the book back in front of Revan. However, this time too, Revan could see the pages of the book blank. He looked at Neha in surprise.

Seeing him looking at him with surprise, Neha extended her hand and said, "Hey, everything is written on this page."

After saying this, he extended his hand, and it touched Revan's hand, and for a second, Revan saw the letters written on the book. However, as soon as Neha moved her hands behind, she stopped seeing those letters.

Seeing this, Revan held Neha's hand tightly. As soon as he held Neha's hand, Revan started seeing everything written on that page, and Revan started reading whatever was written on it. As he read, his eyes widened in surprise. Everything Neha had told him was written on that page.

After reading all that, Revan's eyes turned cold. This girl was already running away from him, and now he couldn't force her at all. As soon as this thought came to his mind, a wave of anger rose in his heart. He asked Neha, "So what do you want now? You should never be under the illusion that I will let you go from here."

Neha thought for a while after hearing Revan's question. Anyway, even if she ran away from here, she was in danger from the people outside. But she also did not know how those people would behave with her. It would be better if she chose this Cruel King rather than falling into the hands of others. At least she could convince him to agree to her terms, and she would also get a way to go back to her world.

Neha looked at Revan and said, "I am ready to come closer to you, but I have some conditions for that!"

After listening to Neha, Revan raised one of his eyebrows and said, "What are your conditions?"

Today,y a girl dared to put a condition in front of him. But right now, he could not do anything. He had no choice but to agree to her. Neha raised her eyebrows at Revan and glared at him angrily. Even though everyone was scared of him, she was not scared of him at all. She said, "I want you to make me your queen in front of all your subjects and complete all the rituals for our marriage. Only then will I be ready to come close to you."

Neha knew that there was no love between them, but she still believed that all this was justified only after marriage. That is why she would prefer to die rather than get close to someone before marriage.

Revan was surprised to hear about Neha's condition. He did not think she would put such a condition before him. Before today, he had never thought that he would make someone his queen. However, now if she did not agree to his condition, it would be to his detriment. He said, "Okay! I will get all the preparations done for our wedding tomorrow itself."

Saying this, he went away from there. After Revan left, Neha heaved a sigh of relief. Perhaps this was her fate, and she could not change it. But it was a blessing that he had done everything according to his wish. She said to herself, "First, I have to awaken my magic. Once I do, I'll find a way back out of here."

On the other hand, Raghav had just reached his room to meet Myra when his eyes fell on Myra, who was unconscious in her room. Seeing Mayra unconscious like this, Raghav quickly went to her and said, "Mayra, what happened to you? Wait, I will take you to the doctor right now."

Saying this, he was about to pick her up when Mayra said to him, "There is no use in all this now. It is too late now."

As soon as she said this, she started coughing. Seeing her coughing, Raghav said to her, "Why are you saying this? I will take you to the doctor right now."

Hearing Raghav's words, Mayra told him, "There is no use in going to the doctor. My illness is incurable, and there is no cure for it."

She could not tell all that to Ragha,v but she could make him agree to her point as much as possible. Hearing Myra's words, Raghav looked at her with surprise and said, "What are you joking about? And why haven't you told me anything about this yet?"

Hearing his question, Mayra told him, "I myself have just found out about this. A few days ago, my health suddenly started deteriorating. Although I thought that all this was normal and would be fine in a few days. But my condition kept worsening day by day, and today, when I went to the doctor for a check-up, he told me that I have a disease. There is no cure for it, and I don't have much time left now."

Raghav's heart sank after hearing Mayra's words. He said, "What kind of joke are you making? You know I don't like such jokes at all!"

Hearing Raghav's words, Mayra said to him, "If it were in my hands, I would never have joked with you like this, but this is not a joke; it is true. That is why I have come today to take a promise from you."

Hearing this, Raghav said to him, "What kind of promise?"

Mayra said, "I only have tomorrow left. I don't have more time than that. Before that, I want to see you getting married?"
