If this wall is indeed qi stones, then there would be thousands if broken into the size of a fist.
Qi stones are something that's quite precious for cultivators.

As for cultivating, it's more like when you train your muscle to grow stronger or when you train your stamina so you have more.
Qi stones can be used for both cultivating and restoring qi.
It can be absorbed and refined slowly into whatever qi the cultivator practices and it can restore a cultivator's qi quickly when they exhaust it.
When they use it to restore their qi, it's s more like using the qi inside the stone to feed the exhausted qi inside the cultivator.
It doesn't increase their personal qi that they've cultivated.
As for using it as currency, it doesn't really have any exchange rate to coins.
If it were to be exchange, one stone the size of a fist would be at least worth ten gold coins.
But this kind of exchange is quite rare. Usually, cultivators would have their own market that only accept qi stones as currency.
They won't accept any coins.
As for when they need coins when they go into the mortal world, they can simply get it using their strength.
Getting it from people is one thing. Although it would not look to good if they force people to give them their coins.

Back to the cave, Cloud is slowly standing while using the pale white wall as support.

As for whether the wall is a qi stone wall or not, Cloud doesn't care for it currently.
If it is then he would become rich overnight but what's the point of being rich when he cannot keep his life.
For now, his priority is to survive.
After standing, Cloud walk alongside the wall to find something that might be of help.
When walking around and searching, Cloud find an opening in the pale wall.
The opening make him think that this wall is probably not a solid, complete wall.
Then again it make sense. This wall is probably naturally formed.
So forming a complete block of solid wall shouldn't be very likely. It must be following the shape of the existing rock wall around.
But the opening that Cloud found is too small for him to fit. So he continue looking for another that he might be able to slip through.
After begining with a slow walk, Cloud gradually walk faster, then run.
His body is still injured all over and running will aggravate his wounds but he have no choice but to do this.
Even though the pain is unbearable, Cloud can only grit his teeth and continue because the boar would arrive soon.
After following the wall to its left, Cloud find nothing even after he reach the end, that is the rock wall on the side.
Cloud quickly run back and head into the right side of the wall that he have not check before.
At the exact moment when he turn, a roar from the boar came loudly again.
From how loud the sound is, the boar is obviously very close already.
